Let us not forget that when it comes to cheating nobody has raised the bar higher than Juve !
By the way on appeal the judges upheld the original guilty verdict but the statute of limitations meant that nobody could any longer be convicted for the crimes of sporting fraud , hardly a resounding victory for justice !!
What Rio Ferdinand was guilty of was culpable imbecility.

What Rio Ferdinand was guilty of was culpable imbecility.Rio was guilty of cheating and should have been suspended for life. Too bad the FA doesn't have the balls to do the right thing.

How do you flush drugs out of your hair?

How do you flush drugs out of your hair?Ask his doctor about that. First thing he did once he skipped the test was see his doc. It's like the cops calling you and telling you they'll be right over and when they arrive your burning down your house. It's pretty obvious he's got the Ben Johnson.

So first off it was "proven" and now you're backtracking to "it's pretty obvious" all the while ignoring that the drug test on the hair disproves your laughable assertion. Bravo

Bravo :rolleyes:The law on this is pretty simple, not showing up for drug testing is the same as testing positive. So yes, it's been proven that Rio uses drugs.

LMAO.

No, it's not the same - not even close. You really should stick to posting things you actually know something about (limiting for you I guess but I'm sure there's at least three active threads on this site you could find something useful to say in)

Of course it's the same. Rules are if you don't show up you'll be considered as having tested positive.

No, they're not. He was charged with missing a drug test, not failing a drug test - if they were the same why distinguish between the charges? If it's the same why did he only get an 8 month ban, not the full two years?

The only things Ferdinand proved is that he missed a drug test in the morning, tried to take it in the afternoon and then successfully passed it within 36 hours all the while offering up hair samples for long-term drug use sampling which disprove your inane notion of "flushing" them out of his system.

The rules are simple. If you don't show up you're considered as having failed. So Rio used drugs. Just because the FA are gutless whores and didn't want to punish a key player in the national team, doesn't mean a thing.

You just compound your cluelessness with each new post.

If you don't show up you're considered as having not turned up, nothing more nothing less, and punished accordingly. The fact you accuse the FA of being gutless whores in this incident just proves that you are, in fact, clueless.

Seriously, try a simple google before you post each time. Your posts may actually have some value if you do

Talking about Rio Ferdinand and drugs on a goalkeeper thread?

This has turned into World Rivalries...

Hey they started it.

It's just dumb to have a goalkeeper thread as long as Buffon is active anyway so we might as well talk about something else.

If those are the rules then cite them - you're free to make up whatever delusions you want if it makes you feel better but don't expect the rest of us to play along with your little charade

English internationals are allowed to use steroids and Rio obviously does regularly. If this had been Teymourian he would have been suspended. You know it, I know it.

I agree wholeheartedly but seeing as this is far from obvious then cite your basis or retract

Priceless, simply priceless. Ferdinand was suspended for 8 months by the FA for missing the test.

Why are you arguing about something you evidently know absolutely nothing about?
