Meola still plays ?
By the way, Canada also had a good goalie, Craig Forrest. What happened to him?

Andy Goram is the best ever goalkeeper to live.

Goram?
As for German goalies: Hildebrand is excellent indeed. One of the goalies in Germany I liked a lot is Uwe Gospodarek. I don't know where he plays now, but if it wasn't for several injuries he could have made it big.

Amen to that. Big Brad is and always will be the best keeper in the world. He's signed a new contract at Blackburn to take him upto 37 years old and he's happy to go on longer if he has the legs to continue. He is a absolute, utter legend at Blackburn. We love him. At the last home match last season Friedel brought his kid onto the pitch for the walk around and he got the most rapturous round of applause I have ever heard. However I think we have English-ised him... he has a very soft American accent now, alot of people would think he was English if they didnt know differently.
He was so unlucky that Cudicini won the golden glove a few years back when Brad deserved it so much more. Been a bit of a rollercoaster since but with the arrival of Ryan "Nellie" Nelsen (another legend!) his life is a lot easier.
To sum it up... Big Brad Friedel = Legend!

what about the performances of Maik Taylor and Shay Given at the weekend??? Given is just incredable to have kept as many clean sheets over the last while with that comedy of a defence in front of him. Keepers like Cech and Buffon have unreal defences in front of them which makes Givens performances even better.
Roll on Cyprus!! :D

Howard is by far the best in the world.....
Right.....
Where's Keller on the list?
He doesn't deserve to be on it. Neither does Victor Valdez, for that matter.

WTF. there is no Craig Gordon. Too many shite European Goalies. No Kameni, Frey or James. The options are pretty poor

Instead of bumping this thread, someone should make a newer, updated one.

It's a joke not to see Julio Cesar, who was the main component in Inter's championship run in the Série A this year and see goalies like Cañizares, Dida, Tim Howard, Victor Valdes and Lehmann.

Oops, my fault. I clicked immediately on last rather than seeing when the poll was created. A new one should be made :D

Pffft. Julio Cesar is in my bad books for punching the ball into the back of the net in my last PES game.

Hope Solo.
The rest on the list are known for their cunning stunts.
Hope Solo meanwhile is said to have a stunning c@%&.
