Where's Keller on the list?Yes where's Kasey? He might not be the best but he's in the top 5.

No question about it, my friends. Aureliano "El Resortes" Quijano, legendary keeper for that fabled eleven, "Veteranos De La Toma De Torreón" hands down. Missing an arm and a leg, nevertheless stopped every ball that hurtled his way, with his head. Even did double-duty as his team's mascot. Nay, they just don't make 'em like they used to...
Seriously now, I think Oliver Kahn, on a good day, is still the best right now, with Buffon a close second. Although for sheer entertainment it doesn't get any better than Jorge Campos and Don René Higuita in all their corny, reckless prime. :D Chido.

No No aguilas the boy has not had any internantional experience with the nt
so we can say he is international material only with his club he is good what happend when club America of Mexico played that club from Colombia it was a tie and if Ochoa was good he would not have let any balls hit the net! So in this case I say Jesus Corona by far that game against Boca juniors of Argentina when Corona played for Chivas that game that was pure class were Ochoa should take notes! :DSince when did Jesus start drinking Corona?

there is no compromise dida is the best and that fact is obvious, he makes just a few mistakes during the season and also can defend some balls that neither buffon or czech can.FORZA MILAN

Anyone who says Oliver Kahn is THE BEST goalkeeper in the world has obviously not watched Bayern Munich football the past few seasons.

- Glad for Keller that he'll finally get what he deserves: a World Cup participation as nr 1. He's magnificent.
- why Hahnemann nr 2 and not Brad Friedel?
- what happened to fatboy Tony Meola after his World Cups? :D
As for Dida: I find him overrated. Abbiatti should have been Milan's nr 1. I have rarely seen Dida playing a game where he catches all balls instead of punching them away or dropping them. He is overrated IMO, should not even be in the top-10.

it has to be Casillas.. just think about what kind of defense they have.. and they still managed 2nd place in La Liga, and conceding 2nd least goals (i think..) Cech comes very close but he has a solid back 4 in front of him in Chelsea..

-Keller is easily in the top 10. There can be no argument there. Why is Howard even on this list?
-Friedel retired from International team duty earlier this year
-Fatboy got fatter. He barely has a job in MLS now.

Well there arnt many great keepers in S.America but the best Ive seen is "Pato" w/ Boca Juniors, and I would rank him as the best in the world. He is the national keeper, he has a wonderful temperment has great experence never showes any nerves and plays in that pressure cooker that is S.A.football.

Hey, Big Tony made a couple of good saves the other day! He's not that fat, not fatter than Friedel or that keeper from Chicago.

In all fairness Sanchez was pretty unreal in the confederations cup ,i know id have him in my team. Timo Hildebrand is the new Kahn.

...
Of course there's an argument. This entire thread is an argument.
Reputations come from club play more than country play (there's so much more to judge by), and the quality of opposition is easier to understand. Keller is playing lights out for gladbach this season, and finished well last. but he'd been mediocre for two years before that (when he left, on a free, he wasn't considered top 20 in the prem).

Having being thinking all day i agree Sanchez, although handy shouldnt be in the top 10, i replace him with the old reliable, Toldo.
