Well mods, wanted to continue discussion here. Hope thread name ok.
Cotto is lucky SOB, he was rocked so many times. I wish the Colombian knew how to finish him. As for Peter, turned out he's another mayorga. He was looking for that 1 grandslam. Klitchko was jabbing, punching and holding....not necessarily in that order. Mayweather jr. , to me, is another jones. If you get him and hold him against the ropes by a good/crazy fighter...he's done. So after seeing what hatton did to another one of my favorite boxers, Tzu, I would have to say Hatton can probably beat mayweather. Margarito is a good boxer, hence why many have been dodging him. Even mayorga, de la hoya, and theres alot more on the list. But sooner or later he'll make it up the rankings, and will force any champs to fight and not dodge :D. That ppv cctv 5 is cool, didnt know they showed boxing ppv's. What you use to watch cctv5? Do they also give those wrestling ppv's on cctv5?

One of my favorite boxer is Fernando Vargas. Great power. One of my favorite fights was Vargas Vs. Trinidad. Vargas should have won that fight. Cheating Puerto Rican hit em' with to low-blows which the Don King, I mean the ref didn't see.
I know I really seem to hate Mexicans and all, but that is reallly only when it comes to soccer. I prefer Mexican boxers over Puerto Rican boxers any day of the week. How bout you guys?

One of my favorite boxer is Fernando Vargas. Great power. One of my favorite fights was Vargas Vs. Trinidad. Vargas should have won that fight. Cheating Puerto Rican hit em' with to low-blows which the Don King, I mean the ref didn't see.
I know I really seem to hate Mexicans and all, but that is reallly only when it comes to soccer. I prefer Mexican boxers over Puerto Rican boxers any day of the week. How bout you guys?
vargas sucks, you saw what trinidad did to him. The only credit I do give vargas is that he actually beat winky wright which trinidad couldnt, but did you see vargas last fight? Horrific, he wouldnt last with foreman :D

He was away from boxing for awhile after the De La Hoya fight.
Let me askk you something, do you really beleive that Trinidad won that fight against De la Hoya?

He did barely, I do have to say you cant win a fight by running backwards. Only the slickest and quickest get away with that ala jones, mayweather. Delahoya is neither that slick or quick. One of my favorite old skool fighters till this day is the king of boxing entrances...Hector Macho Camacho. He's in his 40's, till this day will fight anyone and guarantee will not get a beating, probably will lose, but would not get a beating. He has this Spanish harlem style of fighting that is slick, he'll sting you, and also hold you. He did it against delahoy and trinidad. He also has a son fighting right now, but cant hold a hair to his dad.

I wouldnt say that, I enjoy good fighters in general. Could be african, if they got skill I like them. You put camacho against runned down chavez now and you'll see who wins. And chavez son is a flike waiting to happen, wait till they push him out against the real dogs.

NOT AT ALL. De la Hoya schooled Trinidad and it was a scam by the judges against De la Hoya.

Well delahoya has dodged mayorga and margarito, so he better stick to promoting. You know , he dosent want to mess up his singing face :D

Thank You. Someone is talking reasonably. I have been watching boxing all my life, and I knew through out the whole fight that De la Hoya was going to win the fight. He was playing it smart through the final few rounds thats all.

I agree. Oscar was winning easily and just rode his bike the later rounds. Rip off. Felix is all hype.
I especially hate Fernando Vargas. His desire to be more Mexican than Oscar is silly. His use of steroids and still getting his ass beat is even more silly.

yep. De La Hoya won that fight. Tito's hype at the moment with pathetic Don King's backing gave him the edge on the judges.

Yeah thank god they are has beens now. it was the best outcome for both. since the fight, de la hoya started singing and it all went downhill from there and Tito's ego balloon finally burst also with Don King probably taking some of his money :D

As for next week's Jones-Tarver fight, i think Tarver gonna knock him out again, maybe Roy gonna hit n run like he usually does, but i think Tarver really wants to end Jones's career...although this is an entertainin fight...im jus real hyped about the Corrales-Castillo fight the week after...i doubt it gonna live up to the 1st fight cuz that 1st fight was just unbelievable...hope it comes close...so what are ya thoughts on this fight...

Well me, I think it will be as exciting. coralles is a dude that swears he has a chin, so he'll stick be right in sluggin it out. castillo has a better chin and also slugs. It'll just be a continuation, I know it. Just cant predict who will win, but a good show.
