Just to point out I said second tier, not second division of the Ryamn League.
The Ryman League is currently undergoing a reorganisation. At present it is a slighty unusual format with one Premier division, two regional 1st divisions and one 2nd division, containing a smaller number of clubs than the others. It used to be four divisions operating one above the other. The plan as far as I'm aware is to eventually remove this second division, but it is effectively now on the same level as the CCL and a couple of others, all feeding into the 1st divisions (not the second). At present though it does have preference in terms of promotion, in that two sides will automatically be promoted from it, leaving only two others available for the other feeders.
Having just looked at the current table in todays NLP, it would appear that Withdean and Wallingford need only one win apiece to consign Wimbledon to the 3rd spot, so they'll be well down the pecking order.
