Sports bar in Boston showing soccer?

Hi all

I'll be in Boston from oct 8th to 13th . Is there any chance I can watch Switzerland vs France (oct 8) and/or Ireland vs Switzerland (oct 12) live?

There are plenty of Irish bars that show Setanta games (including WCQs), usually $20 cover. They will definitely be showing SUI-IRE, and possibly SUI-FRA. Where in the city will you be?

Also, there's a free newspaper you can pick up at most Irish bars, the Irish Emmigrant. Just about every Irish place in the city advertises what's going on at their bar in the following week, including what soccer matches they'll be showing.

For SUI-FRA, what they'll be showing depends on what other matches are going on at the same time; since that game directly affects Ireland, if Ireland isn't playing at the same time, there's a good chance they'll show that one--and if Ireland is playign at the same time, they might have SUI-FRA on one TV. (I am unaware of any Swiss or French bars that show games, although I'd love a French football bar :)) One Irish bar that shows matchs is in Brighton, the Green Briar. I'm going there tonight, I can ask for you :)
