I was just curious what a all-Pennsylvanian MLS team would look like.
So far I have 3 (I am sure there are more):
Jon Conway of Quakes in GK
Chris Albright of Galaxy as a defender
Bobby Convey of DC/Reading as a midfielder
Anyone else know Pennsylvanians playing in MLS or formerly in MLS?

vermes is from delran NEW JERSEY...
Now, now we all know that Jersey isn't PA, as much as they would want to...
;)
Any more PA players out there?
Just for kicks, how many of them are Penn Staters?

Matt Knowles played for the Kixx (#66, I believe, and was a captain for a year or more) and the MetroStars for 3 seasons. He's from Philly.
Even more obscure is Tom McLaughlin, from Montgomery County. He went to harvard and played 1 game for the Revs in 1998 (29 minutes). He can at least fill out the roster on our way to 11 players! :)

We all know that South Jersey is a part of Philly!
Now if we went with kids that played there developmental ball in Philly, look at Ryan Kelly (Crew). He played for FC Delco for a number of years.
Along with that you have Elcko Eskandarian, Kyle Martino and Chris Wingert all played for Delco as well.
Now for some PA players:
Josh Gros is from Harrisburg.
Brent Longenecker from the Lancaster area (played for the Metrostars back in 96-97)
Brian Kelly from Wilkes-Barre played for the Metro-Stars and the Galaxy.
Jermiah White-drafted and will one day play in MLS once he is done in Europe.

Dunno if any of you have heard of him, but Joe Zewe is from North Versailles, Pennsylvania and played for Penn State during my time at PSU. He now is the main star striker for B1909, a 2nd division Denmark club. He may play for a minnow club, but he's making his way up. I guess he doesn't count since he has never played in MLS, but I thought I'd mention him here.

Just ran across this link in Region 1 ODP that says Chris Armas played for Eastern Penn ODP.

I think they mixed up him and Ben Olsen, who they listed as playing for Eastern NY. Armas is from New York and he never played for Eastern PA.

Besides Curtin's brother, any new Philly area or PA-based soccer players to add to the list from last year?

I played for his dad, who is a very highly rated coach in SE PA. Great guy.
--- Ryan Soroka. I believe he is going to St. Johns. Plays for the u-17 national team. Played club for FC Delco.
