when it comes to the Sox i'm a realist

so that what does that make a Cubs fan?

i want to use a glass analogy here, but can't think of one. how about Cub's fans are like Nelson on the Simpsons, always hoping that his papa really did just go to the store and will come back. even though Bart did find him in a later episode.

The glass is half full, a.k.a. "there's always next year." Gotta keep positive, I mean the Cubs underachieved this year, I'll admit that willingly, but as of right now we're undefeated in the 2006 season, so it could really be "our year." :)

you sound just like my brother  he's a cubbie as well. I'll ask you the same thing I ask him:

how does it feel to know you will never see your team win a world series?

They are a damn good group once you get past the 'House of the Rising Sun'.

Really? I'm thinking it would have been the Beatles and Stones of course, along with the Who, Kinks, Byrds, and Dylan. Towards the end of the Sixties, I'd add the good old Grateful Dead, Cream, Led Zeppelin and Jimi Hendrix.

The front that just moved through Texas really lowered our temp, went from 102 to 92. But at least it isn't triple digit heat in the end of September anymore! Can't wait for that week in January when I need a coat.
