have a great time anti...I know you are a big phan of theirs.
I did see the band Supergrass last night at the Bowery Ballroom. I had not heard them before (I know, they are like mini-phamous); they were awesome. It was an intimate acoustic evening celebrating the release of their new cd "Road to Rouen" - a really, really good cd.
I heard some of their stuff a long time ago, then caught a new song last night. They are a pretty good band. After this London trip, I need to buy a whole bunch of CD's, plus a proper stereo again.

Nice! Any pre-show partying? Taking the hot neighbor with you?
Yeah, about 8 of us are meeting up for drinks at 7 then going to the show at 8. It's going to be six girls, me and a buddy of mine. I really should have gotten a limo, but they're frickin spendy. Would have cost at least 300 bucks. Should be fun though.

I always liked Superdrag alot better than Supergrass. But i bet some folks here would like to take a Superdrag on some Supergrass, but they will probably have to wait for their trip to Amsterdam for that one. ;)
Seriously though Superdrag was good, i had "Head Trip in Every Key" good album.

No problem, glad you enjoyed it!!! I saw the avatar and wondered if it was who I thougt it was and went to the guys site, saw the pic, and had to post it!
I am buggin out of CCTX on Ocober 26th and heading to Houston, with the flight to London the next night (27th). Would love to have some tunes for the trip, of course I will need to find my portable CD player!

Mike, I just called McCormack's Pub on 26th ave...they told me to call back tomorrow - they will know for sure whether or not they will be showing the arsenal match at 8:30 am.....stay tuned and we'll go from there. However, you can come into the city early if you prefer either way - I am not going out on sat and will be up early on sun.

that was my second show...the second set was Phantabulous...the 'Loving Cup' solo is one of my favorites!
