Goon morning everyone! 'Tis a special day as yours truly turns the ol' life-clock over to 35. (Suppose Coldplay will play Happy Birthday tonight? Eh, I won't be there anyway.) Got the latest Depeche Mode single as a simple treat to give me something new with the day, and will be enjoying some seriously sinful coconut cake this afternoon! (Damn the cholesterol, full speed ahead!!)

Anywho, the ritual birthday gift exchanged between my wife and I is serious, full body massage! She works in physical therapy and knows how to give A+ back rubs, so if I come to work drooling tomorrow you'll know why! Can't wait, too. We've been painting the kitchen all weekend and doing other chores so I will soak this one up!

Thank you, sir. It will be a bit frantic tonight, however, as I must pack for a two day conference in Columbus and leave @ 6 AM tomorrow morning. ("And there was much rejoicing...")

Hey, Phan, since I'll be on the road do me a favor, eh? Tomorrow is the Chan Gailey call in show. I'll give you the 800 # and you can ask him to please, "For the love of God" hire an offensive coordinator!!!!!

Ah well, I can dream today of all days, right?! : )

Any CL games on ESPN/2 today? I may be entitled to an extended lunch break or something...

Red, anyone in your circles going to Coldplay tonight? I didn't realize the band had been around town for about a week now. They're hosting on 99x tomorrow (afternoon?) and I'm curious to see which bands they'll pull out of their ipods.

I heard that also on the way in to work this morning GG.....I think it is interesting to see who bands listen to.......much like "The Boys A Bit Special" from FourFourTwo although I am always disappointed by the amount of hiphop and lack of classic rock I read! :D

Not a big Coldplay fan but don't dislike them either!

Not a Coldplay "fan" either, but they were the only noteworthy act going on today when my wife offered to head up to Atlanta to celebrate. I do like "Speed of Sound," but am tired of "Clocks." Afraid I've not the time nor zeal to pursue as many underground acts as others on the board, unless its jazz. If you get the chance to see the Noel Freidline Quintet sometimes, I highly recommend it.

Jazz Classics on 90.1, Saturday nights at 9 PM. Hosted by H. Johnson (great voice). Arguably the best thing on the radios and perfect for couples looking to sit back with a bottle of reisling and just enjoy life. (Or to wipe away the pain of a 44 point loss...)

I saw that this morning. Pretty incredible, though a bit odd that they ripped on tentacle off! I love the comment, "Oh, it was one of the two longer feeding tentacles, but it will be fine without it!"
