The Flag ship franchise and the REAL SUPER TEAM have paved the way for MLS teams to be aprt of Conmebol events.. Its now upto MLS League officials to assure the deal and negotiate with conmebol for a permanent spot in Copa Sudameicana and begin to talk about how they can get involved in copa libertadores.......
DC United have done things the cosmos NEVER have...While the cosmos were a glamour team that traveled around the world playing FRIENDLY GAMES... DC United have played for Real Cups and Conmebol Cups.......

DCU have done every thing right since day 1 for themselfs and their fans and they should be immitated in every by every one else that have clearly failed in their respective markets with the exception of Chicago....
DC are more glorious than the NY Cosmos of the NASL..in the history of US Soccer the cosmos had 5 championships and 4 tran atlantic cups... DC has 4 championships and by far more real official international cups...
