Just saw this up there.
Has anyone seen this? Is it worth the purchase?
Also, what's with DC being one of the only teams that has just the logo on the hooded sweatshirts? I would definitely get one if it had "United" or "DC United" written out across the chest in the same way almost all the other teams have theirs, but I think just having the logo looks silly.

If people are looking for this dvd the SEs are offering a special deal ($15). The SE Ticket Mistress is handling these (but she's currently out of town). I'll send an update when people can send in orders and how.
The music is annoying but it's fun to relive the fun and see people we know and love (on and off the field).

Incidentally, the copy of this won by BS contributor Jegao Paraiba in the stadium-naming competition has still not been claimed. If anyone knows who he is, tell him to send me a PM with his address if he/she wants it. If it's not claimed in a week I'll put it up for grabs on here with some sort of a trivia question. The thought of anyone paying twenty bucks for this while ignoring, say, the new Bob Mould CD, causes me unspeakable pain.

It's hard to say. It's got a cheesy porn movie soundtrack and they rush thru the regular season. They really don't capture the excitement and drama of the NE playoff game very well and hardly any mention of the fans. It could've been done better IMHO.
On the plus side the slo mo footage is pretty professionaly shot and they give you alot of different angles of goals scored. But it is on the disappointing side.

The DVD makes it so we didn't allow any goals all throughout 2004. :p

I never got mine for the Championship four pack I ordered back in April but it was in the gift pack I got from participating in the golf outing.

It doesn't suck and it's certainly better than no DVD at all.
