I've been to Birmingham a few times, though not recently(about 15 years ago). It ain't that bad. No shortage of pubs there. ;)
GO BLUES!!
Someone's gotta root for them around here.

Yeah... There is a serious shortage of brum fans in these parts.
Saw the game today on a chinese feed... Not to bad getting two goals against a team that hasn't been scored on yet.

Heh! they weren`t the prettiest of goals, but who cares how they go in... :D
I think it was a fair result today. Both teams were really cautious in the first half, not wanting to give anything away (although that is understandable considering b`ham had lost their previous 3 games at home). Early in the 2nd half, i felt if we had got at Liverpool abit more we could`ve had more than a point, but our final pass where it matters eluded us. Once Gerrard (where would pool be without him?) sparked into life, liverpool had more of a threat, before that they showed nothing except for passing the ball around and actually doing nothing with it.
What on earth Kilkenny was doing, i dunno. Think he thought he were still on the skool playground playing `rush goalie`. Besides that, i thought he was excellent. Not easy coming in for your first premiership start against the likes of Gerrard and Alonso.

Not much action around here. I've tried each of the past 3 seasons, but have basically given up.
As to the match. I think Blues have to be happy with the draw. They were outplayed in the first half, but Liverpool did nothing with their advantage. That said, I agree with Steve Bruce's complaints about the events leading up to the last 'Pool goal. A 'dive' by Gerrard and then the 'corner.' As for Kilkenny, he did well. He had no choice but to knock the ball out. Smart, really. Better to deny a guaranteed goal and take your chances on the penalty. The ball came off the bar, down on to Taylor's legs, and was on its way in. Overall, he held up well up to that point.
Up next, Arse away.

Saw the Arse-Brum game before the break. Maik Taylor was MOTM for me. Now this is very telling when your bloody keeper is MOTM against a depleted Arse team (even if we were a man down). We need transfers in the January window, or this is going to be another mediocre season. Sell Heskey and use the money to buy someone that can score. He's the Crouch of Birmingham (or is Crouch the new Heskey?).
