National team coaches in Africa seem to change frequently. I thought it would be easier to put all the coaching changes in one thread. :)

I know there have been a few changes over the past few weeks, but I forget who went where...

"The Democratic Republic of Congo are to employ a foreign coach in the next weeks but officials are keeping his identity close to their chest."

Maybe it is Bob Lenerduzzi or Steve Sampson? :p

"Equatorial Guinea's newly appointed coach, Argentine Jorge Warnicke, has been charged with the job of introducing winning ways to the under-achieving African side."

Under-achieving? I just thought they were a small island and had trouble competiting against the big boys.

The Liberian coach hasn't been payed in 8 months, and he is threatning to stop working....

"The coach said: "If at least four months of my salary is not paid, we will not begin training. Training is necessary but we need money. We are the only coaches in the world that are not paid."

http://allafrica.com/stories/200303070271.html

Not good news for Liberia because their national team currently sits on the bottom of their ANCQ group.

Interesting story out of Ethiopia.

They Ethiopian FA has fired their German coach because he had inadequate qualifications for the position.

My question is... why did they hire him if he had inadequate qualifications? He did coach the team for nine months!
