Sorry about the setback, phishy.
Since you might be toiling around the TTU campus some more then, I have to ask: What's with the out of conference schedule? You know, one more AA opponent and TTU becomes eligible for the AA postseason, I believe!!!

was at the game on saturday..
there is crazy talk of us putting up 100 pts this week vs Indiana State.. but that would require some defensive touchdowns.. cuz saturday.. wow, our backup nearly had 300 yds passing. and for the first time since leach has been here, we ran out the 4th quarter instead of passing.
I see there is a little touch of grey on your silver lining...:D
p.s.- there are lots 'o good shows coming up soon in NYC if you are here long..

okay... let me set this record straight..
Texas Tech will NOT play a (SEC, Big 10, ACC, etc) team if that team refuses to play a HOME AND HOME... okay? now recently, we've played NC State, Ole Miss, Ohio State... nobody was going to do it with us this year, teams declined our offers.. so we had to fill in with these spare teams... you think we WANT to play division 1-AA teams?? do you think the alum's want this?? no, but we wont be treated like a second rate university in only coming to their place.
hopefully that made sense.

Phishy's on "co-ed patrol" again.... :D
Maybe you could do an "Old School-esque" kind of deal while you are in town for a while. Throw some parties-bring back the "Tank"! ;)

okay... let me set this record straight..Not to worry, Phishy, I know how the scheduling game is played. ;) Just offering up a little razz. At least TTU has been rather consistent in taking care of business when they're supposed to. The teams I root for have a habit of playing to the level of their competition. Plus Red Raider fans are slightly more loyal: GT has a habit of fielding no-shows for less than top notch opponents or unblemished records. *sigh* They should never have done away with the tailgating space...
