I'm ready for some maragaRITA's!!! Just called our buddy who owns a rental co. and left a message for him to bring one of the machines home! Nobody will be renting it this weekend.

from what i've read the first season was weird
it was soooo addictive. the Locke episode (# 3 or 4 last yr) was what got me hooked.

Feej, I was on the confirm buy page for a black nano when I just couldn't do it....
However I did receive my new 20gig color/photo iPod! :D

So us in CCTX are pretty much in the clear. Of course, the boards are up and we are ready to leave if need be, but I am almost certain we will be staying here. Lucky for us, but not for friends and family north of here.

Well, had my weekend on the secluded island cancelled thanks to a typhoon that swept through the southern part of the island and blew out a mountain road that you have to take to get to the port across the island. The plus is that it was supposed to rain there all weekend, so we can reschedule later and hopefully go on a weekend where we can really enjoy the whole island. Still, would have been nice to get away. :rolleyes:

The latest track has it going east of Galveston Bay. That is a 4 hour drive from here, way far away. Galveston is going to be royally messed up though and now Louisiana is going to receive a major blow.
So us in CCTX are pretty much in the clear. Of course, the boards are up and we are ready to leave if need be, but I am almost certain we will be staying here. Lucky for us, but not for friends and family north of here.
You sure about that? This storm is freaking huge, and i wonder how far out the winds will have an effect. I'm sure its gonna be alot bigger area than usual.

I found old Offspring CD and was jamming out the other day! Love finding "new" old CDs! :D Good times!

That is my favorite song on the CD to Bready!
It might sound a bit scary but that was the CD that I used to listen to before we would go to the firing range back when I had to qualify semi-annually with my pistol for work! Man I loved that CD...nothing like listening to the Offspring and then spending the day shooting at stuff! :D ;)

Yeah, Texas is really big. We are about 250 miles from Galveston. The storm diameter right now is about 300+ miles, so we are outside the direct influence area. We may get some rain and wind, but not much. We really just missed out. It is going to be a nightmare upcoast though.

Steph, there is nothing cooler than a chick who knows how to shoot! :D You just moved up a notch or two!! I'm sure Coach would agree!
