Nick begged me to take it down. Said my scheme to get him in the kangaroo court had failed.

dammit! you're too quick...I tried to delete the post. My bad, Dave. please accept my penance:

LOL its all good.

I should probably point out that

A) Living in a predominatly Spurs town and
B) Having a Spurs fan for a brother
C) Drinking in a boozer where its pretty much 50 50 spurs/arsenal

makes me somewhat more tolerant / understanding.

Ah ballacks who am I kidding - 24/7 moaning whenever I go for a pint has led me to pity the poor buggers ;)

BigFootball is just starting. It's got some regulars. The Skins forum is pretty well represented and led my MtKillmanjohno

Same name, eddieba26. I couldn't be bothered to create anything creative. Maybe, "We Got Our Trophy Back" would be a good name. What do you think Dave?

Not in London - Enfield. 7 Miles North of Tottenham, and marginally closer to White Heart Lane than Finsbury Park..

Younger - 2 years - born a gooner converted age 11 due to peer pressure. Couldnt handle being one of only 3 gooners in secondary school. Wuss :)

Actually pretty ammusing. Outside of match days most the guys from opposite camps are good friends, but what makes it so funny is when the insults start to fly there are always outsiders around who always get a bit TOO agro thinking there "side" problably outnumer the other "side". Little do they realise that if they start to kick off chances are they are gonna cop it from both spurs and arsenal fans as everyone in there are mates :D

good that is what I went with.

I tried to make my name:

'Darrell Green Phor President Phan', but apparently that is too long.

I decided to go with a play on my nickname (Bready....Ryan - Rye Bread - Bready...don't ask)

Washington Breadskin

I look forward to trolling your board ;) and referring my pals to the site. I have a couple eag phans at work.

I'd welcome the traffic. The problem with it right now is just getting the traffic up. You'll see a lot of BS people on there though with the same name or similar ones.

For BigFootball? That would have required the Eagles to actually have won a Super Bowl, wouldn't it? :D

I'm also on there under the same screen name. It's actually pretty good, even with the limited number of people there. Top advantages:

- Can have an avatar without paying money.
- No World Rivalries forum.
- Decent football discussion (except for Eddie's belief that Terrell Owens is somehow UNDERRATED  )
- No Politics board.
- No ZANI or Mel B

Just on the strength of 2, 4 and 5, even Rick might sign up for it!

Heh. Got there at 6:15 figued if I got there a wee bit early I could clock you comming through the door.

I have been applying for a new job online but havent had any sort of response for weeks now. Sods law I get the first call in an age at 6:30 on the dot. What are the fookin odds. Had to go outside to take the call as it was a bit noisy in there.

I figured you probably passed me while I was outside so I had another nose round but no sign...finished my pint at about 6:50 and decided to make my way down to the ground as I was due to meet some folks there at 7:15

I was actually looking for Sara more than you Rick as I figured she'd be easier to spot. I have NO clue what she looks like but there were only a few women in there and most were wearing Arsenal tops so I figured a non-gooner woman would stand out but nope.

Ho hum next time I'll get yer mobile number - be so much easier :)

I have no idea how you missed us. I was one of the few women in there AND I was wearing blue (even though Rick said I couldn't wear my Everton shirt since I was there with Arsenal America -- booooo!). Oh, and we were all standing right in front of the bar (in the back where the giant TV is), so if you got your drink from there, you couldn't have missed us.

Too bad, I was looking forward to meeting you too. If I win the lottery between now and October, maybe I'll see you when the American Invasion happens.

Totally underrated. But we can discuss that elsewhere.

Overrated: Hines Ward and Dallas Stars hockey.
