Chelsey in denial.
As for Crew fans being embarrassed, I agree 100 percent. But did anyone do ANYTHING about it that was there and not in the section? No. I am so sick of hearing about lack of atmosphere from fans that regularly attend the matches but do jack **** to help the situation.
(This is not any attempt at an insult at Mateo.. Tell Allison I say "hey", ok? :))

Would you please take this chant/supporter group crap to a thread where all of you who care can rant on and call each other names, please.
This is a game thread... your battle is a satelite isssue.

Hit the road, troll.
We did. And we out did you guys on your own ground.
Now, how about we see if you can drum up this supposed massive support you brought with to the last game in Chicago, and bring it on Oct 8th.

They wear scarves that say "Fire Hooligans", but the fact that one of those guys sat and smoked in 137, yet had all of his Fire **** hidden, proves to me that they're all a bunch of nancy pants.
Went something like this:
Security guy goes up to Fire fan, who is sitting on the seatback, with his feet on the seat.
Security Guy: "You can't sit like that" *motions proper way to sit* "You also can't smoke"
Fire Fan puts out his cigarette
Fire Fan: "Ok, let me get a few of my buddies over here."
Like what is that going to accomplish? The same thing that those Crew scarves with Fire stuff on top were supposed to accomplish? As a Crew fan, I would never, ever, not in a million years wear something with the logo of any other team that my team was playing. Hell, I wouldn't even wear my opposition's colors when they were playing my team. Are Fire fans actually dumb enough to wear yellow and black when the Fire is playing the Crew? Why would supporters of Manchester United wear blue when they play Chelsea FC? Why would supporters of Newcastle wear red when playing Boro?
Also, those wannabe bikers with chains and black leather looked really bad. Like horrible-type bad. Don't talk to me about supporting a team when you don't even wear a team shirt or team colors to a game.

We did.
YOU didn't outdo anyone given that you were posting on BS at 3 yesterday.

Right Kryptonite. Your not a true supporter unless you dress up in your teams colors every game. You must think all those Raiders fans who dress up are pretty good fans because they dress up like freaks every game.
Keep up the good work Crew fans. You really know how to get behind your team and give them a home field advantage.

Ha....You might want to inform your "supporters" of this theory. There were more of your people wearing red than yellow.

Interesting. This is the first time I have been on BS in a long time. Check the year on the post you were looking at.
Edit: Last post I had on here before today: 17 Jun 2004, 01:56 PM
So, try again.

Only if there is no college football scheduled. Otherwise the V-cub scouts will be busy.

If you guys stop talking ******** about us, we probably will. We are talking about a game we actually went to, so I feel as if we have some sort of right to comment.

Then go to your own boards to do your ******** talking
We haven't learned anything new here. Section 8 is loud, travels to CCS really well, and has no class as evidenced by your trolling.

I have to say - coming into an opposing supporters' section is bloody stupid, regardless of how flaccid that section appears. Glad to see you gits couldn't simply enjoy your victory with class.
Get tae ************, or at least back to the Globe. It's *such* a great pub - I was there a few months ago and asked for white pudding at breakfast, and got hollandaise sauce. Seriously.

Afar fax ache. I've been stuck in Ocean City, New Jersey all weekend. It's where the 1890's meet the 1960's and an Apple II would be considered advanced. I hear and see nothing about the game. I get back looking for some comment and analysis on the game and the post-game thread is flooded with weenies whimpering about stupid fan tricks.
Post-game threads are about what happened on the field, not what some neurologically-challenged prat did, or did not, do in one section or another.
While we were on the Pa. turnpike yesterday afternoon, we saw a low loader carrying a truly mangled Bradley fighting vehicle marked "NRP" (No Repair Possible.) None of you bozos are anywhere near the league that gives and takes that sort of badness. Naughty smokers in no smoking zones and evil scarf wavers ain't worth the bandwidth.

where in the hell do these twits come from? sure, they travel well. sure, it took them 4 years to come up with a new cheer besides "Fire", a clever bit that rhymes "go" with "Ohio" (get it.....get it...?). but the only impressive thing i saw the whole match over there was one of those fat-asses getting guerneyed off on a stretcher because the lout passed out drunk on the stairway, not even making it up to the match. jesus, can't they hold their alcohol any? but he was going to be fine, judging by the constant mothering and cradling by the biggest, baddest, 18yrd old in the group.
anyway, as i stated earlier before the idiots came to pick an internet fight (that's what REALLY cool people do), this game was a microcosm of our season. create chances, poor finishing, horrible defensive lapses, a disappearing midfield, and, consequently, a 1 goal loss.
