OK, is this what I think it is, when FOX tells a bunch of attractive women that they're vying for the chance to marry a guy worth 50 million $... only, *get this*, he's not actually worth that???!!!

In the timely words of Bill Hics: WTF is going on?

LOL, yup, it's great isn't it?

I think Fox's main motivation here is to destroy The Bachelor for ABC though, which is what they are doing.

I was talking to some of my female friends and they don't like this because no matter what it's going to "prove" the stereotype of gold-digging women right. How? Well no matter how unmaterialistic the girl is, there's no way she is going to stay with this guy because he laid a big fat lie on here and then guys everywhere are gonna be like "SEE! I told ya so. Women are all about money!"

Should be pretty funny though. I don't know how interesting the rest of the show will be but I'll definately watch the final episode. Fox's commercials are really funny though, you can almost hear the Fox execs in the background doing a Dr. Evil laugh.

Yeah that will be the best part, which means you only have to watch the last episode.

Sorry, Ted, I did not produce this show. It's a funny concept even though I suspect that the actual revealing that the guy doesn't have money will be more sad than hilarious.

Anyway, I don't think any guy out there needs any more proof that some (but not all) women are all about the money. That's like having a show to "prove" that a lot of guys will date a woman just to get some sex. Hoo boy, now THERE'S a shock, huh?

People have tried in vain to hurt me with all kinds of smack but you've succeeded in actually hurting my feelings with those 2 little words. I thought I liked you.

Of course it doesn't need to be proved that women grub money, but it's gonna be damned funny when it is.

Oops, my sincerest apologies. It's just that Ted has been my cyberstalker du jour lately and I assumed it was him.

What the hell happened to BigSoccer in the past week or so since I've been away? It seems that we're missing a few posts and I've read dark inklings that the site got hacked. Does everynoe now have different names or are sock puppets no longer violations of TOS?

The site was hacked. 70 user ID's were temporarily lost. We used socks in the meantime. The site was restored to the last back up which looks like it was about a month ago. Now Premium Member accounts don't work (can't post) so we're using different socks. I think under the circumstances, they're letting it go since no one is doing anything malicious or trying to circumvent a card.

Holy flying shit, I go away for a week and the place goes to hell. Musta been one helluva hack. Now I'm going to have to go around asking "Who were you in a previous incarnation?" before I address anyone unless they still have their old name. What a bite in the ass.

The real fun will be a week after the show is over and both contestants are mutherfooking each other on the Howard Stern show.

Now I can image some feminists will complaint that shows like this one will exploit and degrade them. And this is FOX we're talking about.
(See "Who Wants To Marry a Millinonaire" and "Celebtity Boxing".)
Now if some women really think in this unrealistic fairy tale ideal of a relationship, they deserved to get burned.

Why would feminists be upset? These bozos should think for themselves, get real jobs and while they're at it get some self-esteem and realize that marriage is not the be all and end all in life. Finding a partner to share your life with is important, but a partner is not (necessarily) a walking wallet. (I'll be honest if my soulmate came with tons of money that'd be great, but dating a man for his money has never been my cup of tea).

Its about time we started practicing what we preach. If women want equality well then maybe we should earn our own damn money........

Just my 2 cents

Equality doesn't come with balance in the pocketbook. I outearn my wife five fold, yet she is way more equal than I am. I can't remember the last time I won ANY arguement.

Excuse me. Is that my spine over there?
