This is just a small request to the people who have read the History of NUFC thread.
What do you think of it? and how could it be improved. Both negative and positive replys please.
And no i'm not moving the runners-up from major honours...you know who you are. :p

I for one think it was a great idea and very well done.
Thank you for taking the time to do that. It really helps to make our board feel more like a community kinda of like...... the village of the damned. ;)

I think it's great, man. And I probably wouldn't have looked for it on my own. Other threads should do the same thing.
It makes me not feel as bad about the up and down turbulence. sort of like, business as usual :D And it seems they always bounce back from the down times. It's nice to see that 'Boro was both their first game as Newcastle and thier first competitive game. I'll be looking forward to those matches a bit more from now on.
But the article didn't indicate why Newcastle/Manchester matches are so heated today. Is it something to do with Kevin Keegan coaching Man City, or the FA Cup final in the late 90s?
note: there's a typo under "The Nineties." The section begins: "oardroom struggle; Sir John Hall's 'Magpie Group'..."

The reason that the Man U games are so heated is because of when we were fighting at the top of the league and because Alan Shearer chose to come here instead of there.

I didn't care for it one bit. It had too much information and it made me think (always an unpleasant activity). Why should I be expected to learn facts about the side I support. I hope you do not expect me to continue to post my uninformed opinions now that I have been made to actually read the historical facts about NUFC.

I like reading about history of things so that thread was fine.
There's not going to be a quiz on it though, is there?

Recent History? We came second twice, blew it once. Were crap for two seasons then had Bobby, got to the champions league knockout stage then became crap again.
Main rivals are by far Blunderland, then Man U, then probably Boro or Liverpool or now possibly Chelsea.

Are you refering to the position you play on a football pitch, your political leanings, or the arn you use to lift a pint? And to stay on topic please keep in mind that your answer will not change my opinion about your history post - it was quite good

My political leanings=Left
My position=rightback or defensive mid
My pint lifting arm=right

Of course Dickface or as we know him, Graeme, is a filthy, lying, cheating slag. Got the whole effing idea from the Spurs board. Yes that's right, we even won that contest before you lot too. :D :p
In all seriousness though Graeme, t'was righteously penned.
Haven't been here in a while and I know how you all miss me so...especially you Jaypro. :D I might have to come and create mischief. So, don't say you haven't been warned you northern monkies.
