I was already in the Yahoo thing, but just joined this league.
Let me get this straight, as I did not do Yahoo last year. There are only like 100 players to pick from this week, as there are only 3 or 4 fixtures, and there are unlimited substitutions in later weeks, so there is no advantage to buying a player now if he doesn't have a fixture this week? That's pretty dumb.

The problem is that the prices of players rise and drop fairly quickly so if you don't buy a player you are interested in today (even though he may not have a fixture) his price may rise before you switch or the price of the player you buy may drop. The result is the same you are stuck with the lower quality player.

I don't like Yahoo's setup at all. My advice is play the Sporting News' Premiership game. Has more features and you can win cash prizes.

The one thing I noticed is that Sporting News has the amount a player should be worth pretty accurately but yahoo i think just randomly picked numbers for each player. Sami Hyypia is only worth 2 credits on yahoo!!!!

It's not random at all. There is a formula but that would be telling.

Is this league full already? I got the following message:
Errors:
There is a maximum of 50 teams per group.

Sounds like it...
Join our league if you'd like and haven't already.

We have about 230 teams so far but I don't think there's a limit on this site.

What sites do you find useful for tracking players?
What I would love is a site where I can enter in the players I want to track. Then I'd have info on stats and injuries, suspensions at my fingertips, specific to my players. (Plenty of these available for Fantasy American Football). Usually I end up seraching through dowznes of site trying to find out if my player is injured or not.
I used to use soccerupdate.com but it looks like it is no longer in service.

There's a fantasy game at Fox Sports World too, it costs $$ but I think less than the TSN game, and has some cool prizes.

The TSN is FREE and you can win up to $500.

When I looked at the TSN it said you got a few player moves for free but them had to purchase ones after that.
If I'm deciding between giving money to The SPorting News, which refuses to cover soccer, and between Fox Sports World, it's not a very hard choice.

You get 11 free transfers to start and then another free transfer every week. After that you can by more transfer for $1 or more.

I can't figure out the Sporting news thing. I try to take players away and add another. I have enough money but it still won't let me. What is wrong?
