Well Sean is training for a 24 hour mountain bike race in early October, so he will be ready....as for me I hope that playing footie 3x a week will at least have me physically prepared. I have gotten really skittish about biking since I haven't really riden more than 1-2x a year in the last 5 years! But it should be fun!
Don't worry about it Steph, Riding a bike is just like riding a bike, y'know. ;)

All this talk about Americans working out like crazy just made me realize that I'm a Euroslob.

Anyway, its now mid-September, and the weather here in California is already a little nippy for my tastes (low 70s?). So i just booked a trip to Cabo San Lucas for a few days. I'm leaving in the morning, my shorts and t-shirts are already packed, its going to be muy caliente down there. :)

Low 70s is too cold?!?! Geez, don't come to Pittsburgh or Albany in the winter! ;)

I'm also in the process of booking a trip to this small island off the east coast here. It's my girlfriend's birthday present and it should be nice and relaxing for both of us!

I probably would have gone anyway. The fact that it's her birthday is a good excuse and was enough reason to convince her to let me pay (Taiwanese girls don't like you paying for anything!).

Really? Does she have any cute friends? The girl i'm seeing now has been bleeding me dry. ;) :D

A couple, but I think they've got boyfriends. One though is close to a breakup (hence phone drama at least a couple times a week  ) so, if you come here soon, I could probably hook you up. I've already been a solid representative for American guys with them, since I've both been very good to my girlfriend and also had her tell all of her friends that I was huge. :D

As for the paying thing, it was weird when we started dating, because we could never mutually decide who would pay, so it would take trickery on both of our parts. She would pretend to go use the restroom and instead pay the check, and I would drop something on her side and ask her to pick it up for me, then grab the check quickly. She's actually a little mad that I'm paying for the trip, but I think she'll deal with it.

a very, very tough choice indeed....

From The Big Apple to The Big Easy

On September 20 New York City will launch two major benefits to aid those in the Gulf Coast. “From the Big Apple to The Big Easy” will encompass all-star performances at both Madison Square Garden and Radio City Music Hall. Thursday morning is the on-sale date for the show at Radio City which will feature Trey Anastasio, Tom Waits, Dave Matthews, Galactic with the Mardi Gras Indians, John Mayer Trio and Joss Stone.
Tickets for the Katrina benefit at MSG are already on sale featuring numerous New Orleans-based musicians such as: The Meters, Allen Toussaint, Buckwheat Zydeco, Dirty Dozen Brass Band, Fats Domino, Irma Thomas, Kermit Ruffins and The Neville Brothers, along with a roster of artists that includes: Simon & Garfunkel, Elvis Costello, Jimmy Buffet, John Fogerty, Lenny Kravitz, Elton John and Stevie Nicks

Radio City it is. MSG lost me at Elton John then roshambo'd me with Stevie Nicks.

aint that the truth? these 60 degree mornings have been murder. i've picked up a cold. so i havent been able to work out either. but this morning was sure entertaining. that Teso thread is a minor classic.

Mourinho is *still* a tool.
