Well, the weekend was pretty good. Aggies stomped SMU.
Looks like next weekend won't be so fun though. Rita looks to be on a direct course for CCTX. :( Time to get out the plywood and try to figure out how it all goes up.
I'm really surprised no one has tried to pawn off some "specialty" plywood.

Didn't the Mayor of New Orleans just give the official "okie-dokie" for some folks to come back into the City?

It's ok Cam-you and the family can come to visit us for the weekend! That sucks about Rita though! :(

Yeah, he did. I can understand people wanting to get back in, but it is going to be a mess. Espeically risky with Rita floating around.

We may be headed your way! We'll have to keep an eye on it. Of course I hope it goes somewhere else, but lord know Louisiana doesn't need another hit!

yo Mike, my cousins got reassigned to the Hartford Wolfpack, AHL team for the Rangers. Looks like you won't see him playing for the Rangers right now. Hopefully he can get a call up. I'd imagine this might be his last year in the AHL, as this'll be his 4th season, unless we gets a call up and can play with the big boys.

Notice the Falcons are apparently breaking in their young receiving corps very slowly.
4th and 13 at your own 30something. Down by 3 with a minute to go. Complex crossing routes to confuse defensive backs? Screen or dump or pull out some blockers? Roll the QB out to allow more time? Nope, nope and nope.
Three receivers all run straight "up" patterns as the QB hastily throws to the least covered guy (only 2 DB's) beyond the 13 yard mark.
Tis clear the Birds have been working on those late game comeback strategies! ;)
