I came across this site recently, and thought I'd share it with my fellow bibliophiles on BS. These are all streaming vids of interviews from a BBC series with various authors. All the big names are there:
Salman Rushdie
Toni Morrison
John Updike
John Irving
William Burroughs
Maya Angelou
Martin Amis
Mario Vargas Llosa
and so on...
Anyway, they are each close to a full freakin' hour long, so not for the casual viewer. I've watched most of the Edward Said one (Rushdie is the interviewer) and I "think" it was good, though it was something like 3am when I stumbled across it, and I was pretty burnt already.
If you happen across a good one, offer a review on here.
