Dinner For Five [Archive]

Anybody else watch this show on IFC? I don't know when it's regularly on, but I seem to catch it at different times. I've probably seen about 4 or 5 episodes, and they've all been pretty good.

Brilliant idea for a show: Jon Favreau and 4 other actors sit around eating and talking about making films, the industry, etc. He keeps the discussion fairly intelligent, as well--it's not like it's on Fox or anything. But the anecdotes tend to be the best part.

Anyway, tonight I saw one with Ray Romano, Kevin James, Bonnie Hunt, Sean Astin, and Jon. One of the better ones, as would be expected with 3 comics in the lineup.

I love that show....I think one of the best ones has to be when they had Marilyn Manson and Andy Dick on.......That was one half hour of pure comedy....

The problem is....I think they've only shot about 3 shows, because I keep seeing those three only.

Good idea though. Jon Favreau is becoming a favorite of mine.

i saw one with david cross, denis leary, famke jameson and the tall blond girl with glasses from the goonies. i really like it

Who else got sucked in on Turkey Day when they ran the Dinner For Five marathon all day. 10 episodes back to back.

That would be me. Great TV to go along with the great meal. I just wished they'd show the show more than once during a normal week. I'm never around for the monday evening showing so it's just special times like the marathon that I get to watch the show.
