great job!!!

I told my guys to take it easy... I guess my openers didn't get the memo...

4.6 4 Deane to Owens
slower delivery, beats extra cover, into the gap and boundary as result
4.5 6 Deane to Owens
Blimey, he's top edged it for six! That shows just how fast this lad is bowling!
4.4 4 Deane to Owens
lusty cover drive finds gap in the field and races to the boundary
4.3 1 Deane to Wilkey
wide of off, guided to 3rd man for the single
4.2 1 Deane to Owens
gently stroked to mid off, bit of a misfield as they go for the single
4.1 1 Deane to Wilkey
slogged to long on for the single

that's a 17 run over we're at 51/0 after 5

If you want to talk about not getting the message, my openers partnered for ~330 runs.

The target is 377-2, so this match is basically over, the only question is how quickly my bowlers will bowl them out. The chase is at 58-4 after 13 overs.

wow.

my bowlers started well, keeping the run rate below 2 an over. and then they started to suck. I don't get it, but I'm still ahead, I just need some wickets like now!

End of Over 16: 84-0, runrate=5.25, reqrunrate=6.35 (299-6)
Dunfield 3-0-19-0
Green* 41 (62 balls)

All over now...

Itsy Bitsy Spiders 229-10
winningconnection 230-2 after 32.2 overs.

Wilkey* 126 (101 balls)

Not bad... he's been very inconsistent thus far so I'm happy he's made a hundred.

BAH! Love w/ his 6 wckts got man of the match.

GREAT NEWS...

Pulled

Top Order: respectable
Middle Order: mediocre
Lower Order: abysmal
Seam Bowling: competent
Spin Bowling: competent
Fielding: mediocre

while TIE so its quite possible for me a STRONG, PROF, FEEBLE batting w/ at least respectable in bowling (I pulled 2 respectables in my last normal) if I chose to GFI in my upcoming cup match. I think a Normal might actually do the trick, but is gambling on beating him w/ a normal in order to perhaps win the match after that really worth it?

Advice anyone?

Judging on his match it appears he's a bit stronger than my last opponent in the cup whom he's currently playing.

Just so u know I'm up against Badlands.

if i can somehow get 5 wickets and bowl him out i'm going to lose. my bowlers rock for their first 5 overs and then suck ass for the rest

A few recommendations...
Bowl first then... give your batsmen a chance to win the match. Try setting a couple bowlers that have high consistency to defensive, this may help keep the economy rates down.

Pull Bowlers and use the bowling orders that keep bowlers to 5 over spells which will help w/ stamina issues.

i did do the 5 overs at a time orders and I lost the toss!

Hilton is a feeble bowler, but with Proficient consistency. his stamina still sucks (abysmal) but he bowled better the last time and it was worse! I should've played my other spinner (medicore/abysmal with feeble stamina) or my other seam bowler (competant/respectable with woeful stamina but has feeble form. i'm playing him in my friendly on sunday). i don't have a lot of options. my team sucks. I think I've only had a few training pops, even though i train guys for long periods of time. I think Battrick hates me.

Is your fitness low? Invigorated or what?

Well I got killed and dropped from first to third.
His 18 year old bowler with a 19,836 BT rating (Adam Janes (56221)) was fairly dominant: in 10 overs (mostly against my top batters) he only allowed 27 runs while getting 4 wickets.

Incidentally... it looks like the worthless form for bot players is a game engine feature. I played an abandoned team today and all their players were in worthless form (hence the ridiculous run totals...).

Huge win today against the only undefeated team. There are now four teams, including me in my series with only one loss, but one of them has gotten all his wins against the bottom feeders, so he's not really a factor.

I won this game on the last ball with a GFI. I'm pretty sure he GFI'd as well though, since his ratings were pretty high. However, I got my best match ratings ever.

Top Order: Strong
