There seems to be a lot of interest in young Vedad amongst our American friends who saw him play for St. Louis.

So we may as well create a thread for him.

Vedad is currently on loan to Ligue 2 side, Dijon in Cote d'Or in the Bourgogne of France...

Vedad has been scoring some crucial goals for Dijon of late. And has netted against Istres tonight to earn his side a point on the South Coast.

Match 1 - Valenciennes (a) - 1-3 = Didn't play.

Match 2 - Clermont (h) - 1-1 = Didn't play.

Match 3 - Laval (a) - 0-1 = Played for the full game and scored the only goal of the match in the 25th minute to get Dijon's first league win.

Match 4 - Guingamp (h) - 1-2 = Played for the full game.

Match 5 - Sete (a) - 0-0 = Played for 53 minutes after being subbed in the 2nd half.

Match 6 - Sedan (h) - 0-1 = Played for the full game.

Match 7 - Istres (a) - Scored the equaliser in the 62nd minute.

At the minute Dijon are 3rd bottom of Ligue 2. :(

i really hope they don't make the mistake of loaning him again next year... the game against marseille showed the lack of offense that we have when pauleta isn't there... pancrate is just an absolute joke, i've tried to like him and have given him many chanes... but after being in paris myself for the first 8 months of 2005 and going to all of last season's 2005 games, i think i've run out of patience...

so if no big striker comes next year, really hope ibisevic comes back...

From the sublime to the ridiculous for Vedad recently...

Two goals against Le Havre away from helping his team win 2-1 last week, but this week he is sent off for an off the ball incident with a Bastia player.

Dijon lose the game 2-0.
