This period in the match (last half hour, time-wise), and how PSG perform, will tell us HOW different this year's squad will be from that of last year.
How many 1-0 leads did we give up in the last 20-25 minutes of the match last year? Seems like at least 10 different times that happened.
If this year's team can hold/extend leads they establish down the stretch of matches, they will have come some way toward producing the type of match work ethic and ball management that leads to Europe.
If not, it'll be long season.
Thank God there's no Fanfan to give away the lead...

frankly, this performance from PSG has probably left everyone a little wanting. Strasbourg was terrible, and there should've been at least 2 goals.

today's victory was very encouraging... we could have won 3-0 just like we could have tied 1-1... the only problem with psg is they are not being "realiste" as they say in french - aka: they are not putting the ball in the net when they have the chances... the team is still getting to know each other better... it was nice to see the stadium was full... i'll be going to see sochaux-marseille at the pub tomorrow (marseille is in the crapper right now) and am really excited to go see Lyon - Real Madrid on tuesday... that will be awesome... so for the champions league, ALLEZ LES GONES!

Remplacé à la demi-heure de jeu lors de la rencontre face à Strasbourg, Jérôme Rothen s’est de nouveau blessé. Après sa contracture à une cuisse, le milieu de terrain parisien souffre désormais d’un traumatisme au tibia gauche.
Les matchs se suivent et se ressemblent pour Jérôme Rothen. Blessé à la cuisse gauche face à Nice lors de la précédente journée, le milieu de terrain parisien avait été contraint de quitter le terrain lors de la première période. Le scénario s’est répété à l’occasion de la venue de Strasbourg. L’ancien Monégasque, sévèrement touché sur un tale violent de Hosni, a laissé sa place à Semak après 33 minutes de jeu en raison d’une blessure à une cheville. Et surtout d’une nouvelle douleur à sa cuisse. A l’issue de la rencontre, le staff médical du PSG a également évoqué un traumatisme au tibia gauche, précisant qu’un point sera fait d’ici à lundi pour déterminer la nature exacte de la blessure et la période d’indisponibilité.
