What is the status of Emre, Dyer, Bowyer and Solano for this match? I had heard the first three were hurt and were not going to play and that Solano is suspended for a red card he picked up while still with Villa. Does anyone know anything about this?

Solano's are out until 24th Sept and Emre, Dyer and Chopra are back on the 1st October.

Un-luque is just 'doubtful' for Fulham. He could make the bench.

Injury News: Luque Fulham Doubt?

By Newcastle-Online.com 08 Sep 2005

There seems to be a few contradictory reports this morning concerning the return of Mags coming back from internationals.

The Chronicle claim all of them reported back to training with no knocks or anything like that while Sky Sports are claiming new signing Albert Luque is a doubt for Saturday's match at home to Fulham.

Albert Luque is a doubt for Newcastle's Premiership clash with Fulham on Saturday after picking up an injury playing for Spain.

Luque was only introduced as a second half substitute for the final 16 minutes of their World Cup qualifying draw against Serbia & Montenegro on Wednesday.

The former Deportivo La Coruna marksman picked up an ankle injury shortly after coming on but Spain had already made their three substitutions and he had to play on until the final whistle.

Luque will now undergo tests back at Newcastle but early indications say that he will not be able to make Saturday's visit of Fulham to St James' Park
Hope it's not to bad.

Nice treat to see Boca and Bake play live. I hope the score is 3-1 Toon with McBride the lone strike for Full of Ham.

Why should we expect otherwise. Just as you get a little confidence about the team, the injury bug hits...

The ascension up the table begins. NUFC 4-1 Fulham, and Owen hits a hat-trick.

I think Faye should start before Clark and let Parker run the attack in the middle.
Bowyer is a late addition to the squad as well.

Funny funny, however, these injuries just prove how paper thin our squad really is. I only hope that this is the only injury plauge our team has until the january transfer window.

I don't know you could ask in the MLS club forums and I think Crewtoon is from around the Columbus area so you could ask him. But since it is only Newcastle vs Fulham I wouldn't expect it to attract much TV coverage.

You newcastle or fulham?

I believe theres an Irish pub close to the Crew stadium (O'Shaunnesys?) that shows footy.

Good Luck

I don't know the logic behind the scheduling, but we get a steady diet of the top three between free and PPV. My guess Full of ham with it's Yanks would draw better then average ratings.

Maybe, like at Skysports, the scheduling guy is a Newcastle fan.
