Those players who let the red mist get to them so bad that they become almost unemployable no matter the talent. Edmundo and Effenberg immediately sprang to mind. Roy Keane and Vieira were close but both reined in their darksides a great deal.

Two superb talents who are worth consideration if they don't learn to temper their tempers are Rooney and Cassano. Can you think any past or present who have or are ruining their careers because of moments (or continued) insanity? Totti's NT career has all but been destroyed by his moronic antics as well.

Add em on....should be quite a mean looking list by the end of the thread.

Savage I suppose... he'd never get considered by a decent club. Montero possibly? I'll admit I'm not getting hit with a bunch of names here.

Joao Pinto (you remeber the idiot that punched the ref after he was red carded in 2002)

The one person I know has to be Myself. I go totaly blind in fury and get into fist fights no matter what the situation. I am fairily big and mascular. Anyone who stands on my way or try to break one will have one on the nose. I don't give a ********. I am going to trample on anyone who try to disrespect me. Anyone of you who think you are man enough to challenge, I can meet you anytime anywhere. You ........s, you stand up and fight like a man if you think you are one. I don't give a ********. I am going to smash your head and spill your guts. Comeone you .....s, say something.

ha ha ha ha, that's how ppl like Edmudo think. Feed off their own fury like a wild fire. So rediculous.

Bernd Schuster for Germany. The only major tournament he played in for West Germany was the 1980 European Championships (in which he excelled). He was only 20 years old in 1980. He would have been a great addition to the West German team of the 1980s.

Cantona's aggression was good aggression, similar to Keane or sometimes even when Beckham/Davids see red! Too early to say what category Rooney will fall into.

However how about Smith? Don't know if Vinnie Jones would have been a better player had it not been for his temper but he sure had a temper!

Clint Mathis. Though it was more than his temper that ruined his career. Doritos and Bud Light also come to mind.

Hanke for his stupid reaction in the Confed Cup...now he could miss out on the WC because of this..

Nothings sure on his career being done but he might very well be finished with the NT unless he pulls out great consistent form in the years to come.

Ashame that he does not play for national team b/c his attitude and temper , he gets a bad rap , and has a huge feud with the some players on the team and coach ....... Quite a great deilvery and assits kind of player who scores goals ....
