How greedy can a team be and how bad can they feel after?
Picture this...
Club Sport Herediano (Heredia) (my team) started out the year winning like 6 or 7 in a row.....they were in first place here in Costa Rica and everything was just perfect, just perfect....
So....along comes an offer to host a damn Red Hot Chili Peppers contest in Heredia's stadium and the greedy mother *#($#& bastards accept to host the contest.....what happens? The pitch gets totally destroyed and is thus unavailbe for like the next month and a half.....
During this time, Heredia had like 4 games at home which they obviously couldnt play here so they rescheduled them to be played at Saprissa. (Saprissa hates us)....Heredia loses to like all 4 teams away, teams that were bottom dwellers in our standings...like Carmelita, Perez Zeledon...stuff like that....
So now, we're like completely out of the picture, have lost like 6 in a row and the team is in total disarray..... Of course almost no one showed up at Saprissa to watch the games, and who can blame em...
During this time, a small tornado ripped off a part of the stadium and our starting GK comitted suicide....
The obvious downfall of the team is due 100% to the fact that we had to play all our games away instead of at home, and now the team is worth nothing.....The directives of Heredia thought they were making money by 'prostituting' our stadium for the RHCP concert...instead they sold our team......
