I was planning on going to see 311 tomorrow, but the tix are expensive and we are saving for Engerland. So, it will probably be pretty chill. I'm sure some amount of beer will be involved though! Not too much, however, as yesterday was really rough! :D

my cousin is in New York to sign with the Rangers!!

he's played three seasons with the AHL Houston Aeros. He was drafted out of college by the Calgary Flyers, 27th overall in like '99 or '00, his sophmore year at Boston University. He was then traded to the Minnesota Wild for Mike Vernon (the Stanley Cup winning goalie) and did the Wild's preseason stuff before going down to the AHL. I hope he gets a shot at playing in the NHL with the Rangers. He's come real close with Minnesota. He was the last guy sent down to AHL from the Wild in the season before the lockout.

can't wait to find out more info. His name is Dan Cavanaugh if anyone sees anything.

We are going to need the immunity I suspect!!! Hope fully they DON'T have Lone Star. When I lived in Florida people were always buying me Lone Star and Dixie beer thinking I would like it! It is not good stuff.
It was news to me, as well. I was looking for an online supplier (thinking I could get it cheaper) and I found a link to an article about them banning it in Britain because it tended to get young people "hooked" (Where was the government of Britain when I was 12?? HUH???).

Of course, they were giving economic considerations to a plant in Scotland to produce Skoal Bandits at the same time and forgot to mention it to them.

I'll just tell everyone right now: If they try and take my snuff at customs I'm getting right back on the next plane. I won't have my freedom to suck dirt compromised by any government!!!! ;)
