I'm not going to win my national cup, but I'm planning on going out late. (As is everyone else, I'm sure. :p)

Well with the teams on here and in the KC Hattrick Federation we have 22 teams so far! That's awesome as I thought we'd be lucky to get 16.
We could have the largest battrick friendly cup in history -- oh wait, this game has no history yet :D
Two more teams and we will be ready to form groups and a schedule.

Not sure about a starting date yet as many of you are telling me you are gonna win your national cups!! :rolleyes: ;)
cool. he's registered at Big Soccer, user name BarryJiveUptown Five or something like that, but never posts. I'll keep him posted on it and give him the link to the groups when everything is good to go.

Probably get a stadium upgrade and I have already bought a 17 yo competent/mediocre batsman to train. :D
And yes there is room in the cup. That makes 23, so we could either squeeze one more in or get a deluge of teams and make 32.
I invited a series foe of mine who promoted last season and he will probably reply tomorrow -- he's in England. Ed Weatherall, the PIE guy.

The market definitely appears to be getting more robust.
Hopefully, I do better in this year's BS cup!
And my highest BT rating is 10,000, for a strong batsman.

We have 23 teams so far and I would really like one more team. I am thinking of 4 groups of 6 teams -- which gives everyone at least 5 matches.
Top two teams in each group could go into a last 8 knockout round.
Conversely, we could go with six groups of four teams -- three matches for everyone, with group winners and top two second place teams into a last eight.
Thoughts? Preferences?

this might be a bit hard to organize but might be worth a shot... 3 groups of 8 w/ the top2 teams from each plus the best pair of 3rd placed teams entering the knockout stage... would give everyone 7matches... hm... will probably be too long... I guess in that case 4 groups of 6 sounds good.

rgreene100, and ZeekLTK were in my series last season. I'm not sure how active they are though.

I now have 24 teams so I am closing the invitations. Any teams that express an interest now will go on the waiting list.
The draw into four groups of six will take place at the bar tonight at the bi-monthly KC Metro Fed Hattrick gathering.
GM-Helghallen and GM-George will both make sure everything is above board. Kuhnscoot will be a neutral observer and I will be drunk.
