espn2 - 9/7
7pm New York Mets at Atlanta Braves
10pm United States at Guatemala

If the baseball runs over, I don't know if they'll "join in progress" or delay the broadcast.

If you're recording, I'd make sure to tag extra time onto the end in case of a delay.

The game will also be shown on delay on Telemundo (12:30am local time), but then I've found that Telemundo's live/delay soccer schedules usually change at the last minute.

Wtf? Mets, Braves? I know baseball is stupid altogether, but do we really have to be bumped by teams with names like that?

Glavine vs. Hudson, pretty good matchup for soccer fans.

That's good news.

Hell, they could be done in time for a decent pre-game show. :D

OTOH, we haven't had a decent baseball play-by-play thread since the College World Series...this could be fun! :)

Let's just see what other game they cut into if the Mets/Braves wrap it up early.

Why did you have to remind me of this very real possibility?

I recorded the England - Wales game on Setanta home, and after the game was over they had a mini biography on Maradona, it was really cool. Maybe ESPN2 will do something like that... :D

maybe if the game runs over they could finally make good use of that nifty side-by-side ;)
