i would have to say the semi finals even though lyon is a very good and much improved team this year im just not confident that lyon will be able to beat the perenial superpowers of european football teams on the road its possible just unfortunatly not likely

hey, it's all a gamble, that's why they make them play the games on the field instead of deciding it all in smoky meetings.

OL could even finish 3rd in their group and then get swept away in their first uefa round. or they could lift that big ol' cup in the SdF may 17th... i think the latter is a lot more likely than the former!

OL now has the players, the experience and the organization to compete with anybody. remember, it's not about ratings, press coverage or jersey sales in macao. it happens on grass, 11 against 11, 90 minutes at a time.

Here's how I see it. They are better than all of the Champions League teams that come from leagues that arent ranked in the top 4. They are even with Bayren Munich and are better than the 2 other German C1 teams. They arent better than Milan, Inter, or Juve. Beating any of those teams would be an upset. I dont think they are better than Chelsea, Man U or Liverpool. I do think they are better than Arsenal. I think they can beat Real Madrid but they arent better than Barcelona and will be hard to beat them.

I wouldn't be surprised if Lyon finished first in front of Real Madrid guys... they will be very motivated this year since the CL Final is in the Stade de France... I may be a HUGE PSG fan, but I'm also French... so when it comes to european cups, allez la france! so as a result, allez les gones!

The final. There aren't many teams better than you (actually I think only Italy's big three, Barca and Chelsea may defo claim to be that - and with some luck you could beat them). Houllier also has a great record in cup competitions and me with my rooting for the attack-minded(still under Houllier?) underdog I will be supporting you guys.

And hey you are better than Monaco or Porto of 2 years ago, and with more experience.

The important is the game of word between Gaul and gogol... anyway

If you want to know lyonnais humour, I recommend Kaamelott episods.
They are all lyonnais. And some speak with a strong lyonnais accent.
French members must know it.
I'm always in stiches when I watch some episods.
The DVD is only in french.
It will be interresting to subtitle some episod on a vid, but there is a lot of argotic words.. It will be hard.
