The opponent for my qualifier?
8/31/2005 The club changed owner as jsweimer took control and renamed it NCSU Pirates
The sad thing is it still doesn't guarantee anything coming off of a MOTS, but my chances are much better than they were when the draw was first announced :D

I'm trying to get demoted. Can I say that trying to lose is not exactly that easy when your bench team is as strong as your opponents first XI.

Looks like he's trying to lose as well. He's playing his goalie in midfield. Ugh. Its like the South Park Little League episode.

Success!! I lost!! 4-3. I pulled a 17 yo passable defender yesterday and put him in the line up thinking that he would be worse than the other players. What does the kid do? Score two of the 3 goals. I felt like killing him. He's on the trading block, so he can take his goal scoring ways elsewhere. Damn little punk.
So, I got a mill in the bank. 6 strikers that (3 formids, 3 Outstandings) and I can now safely switch training to PM in the relative safety of div 6. Plan is I buy 6 IM and 4 Wingers and get them up to Solid by end of next season. At that time I'll sell 2 of the strikers and pick up a goalie and 2 defenders and try to survive.

oh, but you've gone almost all the way with the striker training...why not take them each up another level, thats where the real profit is....
re-entering d5 with a bunch of solid IMs wont get you very far...but sell a couple strikers at brilliant and then you can buy some good IMs.
