the first link doesnt work, but I asume its about the emergency landing? What I dont understand is why they need to take a plane to Auxerre, isn't it only like 300 kilometres away?

What I dont understand is why they need to take a plane to Auxerre, isn't it only like 300 kilometres away?it's still 3 hours in a bus instead of 30 min. in a plane, but i agree. especially since the OL bus is pretty cushy, and it did go to auxerre anyway to take equipment, staff, and drive the team from airport to stadium. even when the team flies as far as prague or turkey, the bus goes there separately to provide shuttle service at destination.
