hey everyone,
i'd really appreciate some help with this...i know it's not soccer related but i thought asking advice from soccer fans would be a good idea...me and my friend are moving to dallas to do medical research with the possibility of applying to texas medical schools the following year...we picked dallas b/c it's a hub of medicine in texas and we're looking at getting jobs at UT-Southwestern...just was wondering where 2 young guys (mid 20s) can find a place to live that is close to ut-southwestern, grocery stores, bars, and caters to a young crowd. was told that parkland is the place to be but haven't found much help at craigslist.
also would like any info on how far frisco is from that area of dallas, transportation to frisco etc. for games and such (wanna check out pizza hut park)
thanks for bearing with me and good luck to to fc dallas on the rest of the season since i'll adopt them as my western conference team to root for

Both the "Uptown" area and "Turtle Creek/Oaklawn/Park Cities" areas would be worth a look.
Uptown is very much the young/urban/single locale, with plenty of restaurants, bars, etc. The downside: housing might be a bit expensive there, but it's probably still a good deal compared to what you're used to in the DC area.
Oaklawn is an older neighborhood, a bit closer to Parkland. Housing there tends to be relatively inexpensive, and the area tends to be pretty popular with Dallas' gay community.
Parkland itself has some new apartment complexes adjacent to the medical center. The area itself isn't so hot, but it would, of course, be very convenient to work.

Research Apartment Finders (http://www.dogpile.com/_1_U6SUYV04ZPN851__info.dogpl.iso/search/web/apartment%2Bfinders%2Blower%2Bgreenville%2Bdallas%2Btexas) for the Lower Greenville (http://www.dogpile.com/_1_U6SUYV04ZPN851__info.dogpl.iso/search/web/lower%2Bgreenville%2Bdallas%2Btexas) area.

Wow...that's new heights of badness right there. I applaud your ability to string together a series of awful puns like that. Its a rare and beautiful talent.

Answer: Fort Worth! :D
If the answer is Ft Worth then the question is clearly flawed.

If the answer is Ft Worth then the question is clearly mildly retarded.

If the answer is Ft Worth then the question is clearly "Where did they come up with the idea for the characters in Brokeback Mountain?".FYP :)
