We are gathering a group at the George & Dragon pub on Central Ave. north of Indian School Road in central Phoenix. We definitely would love to have some local U.S. fans join us, so please, by all means come down and help us cheer the Nats to victory.

I was just about to start a thread asking about Phoenix viewing! Thanks!

Sams Army link lists the address as 4240 N Central Ave, phone as 602-241-0018.

Any idea if they have FSC? Would love to catch DC United afterwards.

I know for sure that the G&D II has FSC so I don't see why the original that we're meeting at wouldn't have it. You can call to confirm but I would be shocked if they didn't.

How many people do you expect there to watch the game. There isn't really anywhere fun to watch soccer here in Tucson and i could use a trip north to see the rents if I had a place and some people to watch the game with.

Also, the big question is, do they get ESPN Classic?

I do not know exactly how many people will be there. I will be bringing probably 6-8 myself. When we called they said they would definitely be showing the game so I have a feeling that other soccer fans are aware that it's the "place to be" to watch it. It is the most well-known British pub in Phoenix so it wouldn't be a stretch.

They do get ESPN Classic, I'd assume anyway since they said they'd carry the game. Then again, if they don't, and they just get Telemundo I doubt the volume would be up anyway.

I guess we should set aside the ASU/U of A smack for a day, eh? ;)

Alright cool. Well guys (and anybody else lurking), I'll be wearing an Uncle Sam hat and a red t-shirt if you care to say hello. I'll probably get there about an hour early to stake out some turf.
