Group C
Real Madrid CF
Milan AC
Borussia Dortmund
Lokomotiv Moscow

Up first is MILAN - MADRID on 26 November.

Milan is a tough opponent, but given Dortmund's relative weakness in past years, and the fact we did not get one of the English clubs....we could have done far worse.

I think that it is not an easy group. Even more, If we do not improve our level of play we will not go on to the following round.

The Milan is the best team in the CL this year. They have been the first without any problems in the harder CL group of the first Round. They play a very atractive soccer unlike other Italian equipments.

The Borussia like every german team is very solid and it will be a very dangerous rival. They are playing very well in its league.

Locomotic is the most weak team of the CL 2nd round. That is dangerous because if you lost points against the russian, you will complicate your existence. If one of the three "big" lost points against them, that team will be in problems.

A very important thing is that we play the first game and the last game outside the Bernabeu. In a short league like this is very important begin winning and we play the first game in Milan. And in case of difficulties, we will have to play to qualify in Moscow.

Yes... if we don't improve drastically we can be out of the CL before the eliminatory stage.
Milan is really good and right now I they can beat us. Borussia is being downplayed in the Spanish media but they're the German champions and we're losing to worse teams.
And there's not very much time to improve...

I agree with the above statements but do think Madrid will be improving it's play. Raul is back now and with him in the lineup Madrid is a different team. Let's see how they do tomorrow v Real Sociedad. it will not only be a big league matchup but also good preparation for the coming weeks' big matches in Europe, la Liga and in Tokyo.

Milan is playing extremely well now and Borussia Dortmund is a difficult opponent too. Their giant Czech striker is pretty good and a handful for any team plus they have some skillful Brazilians around him. Lokomotiv is the weakest of the group on paper but traveling to play in Moscow in the winter is never easy! Points lost against Lokomotiv may be crucial as someone else had previously commented. It won't be easy but i think Real Madrid can rise up to the occasion.

Good comments about Real Madrid's opponents. It's not an easy group but then again you don't expect it to be at this stage. Still Madrid needs to improve it's play and start working like a team and not a conglomeration of stars.
