You can say what you want about Bellamy and his mouth, but at least he always gave 100 percent, unlike this sod. The recent play of Jenas almost had me wanting to bring back Marcelino.

Lets not go overboard on this, atleast Jenas played.

I would have liked 10 mil but oh well, at least we are rid of that load of crap. I just wish he p layed up to his potential for us, he could have been great.

Good riddence. Tottenham's problem now.
Though have to love getting 7 million quid for him!

See my above post. Still a decent price though.

You lot are going to miss him when Emre and Dyer break down (again) and Bowyer gets himself suspended.
Souness has no clue about man-management. Jenas was a great player when he wasn't getting jerked around. Right back indeed.

Jenas had one "good" season and that ending with him being subbed after a god awful performance when we lost 5-2 to Man U.

Jenas, great player? Those two words shouldn't be used in the same sentance unless you are saying "Jenas really got schooled by that great player on the other team".
Incredibly overrated he was. Glad to 7 mil for him. It's more than he's worth.

Exactly. I still stick to what I said before, he COULD be something great, but he never gives 100%, and he just plain out has been a nightmare recently.

He's been playing as though he were already gone for the last few games. Just horrible. Here's hoping he blows a hamstring of something...or that he just flat out rots at Spurs. One of the two.

I'm not sorry to see the back of him, although I do wish him all the best at Spurs. This is definitely a good deal for both Newcastle and Jenas. It hasn't looked like his heart was in it this season. And his form for the previous two seasons was awful. How he has been picked for the England squad, I do not know. His finishing was dreadful too!
Having said all that, he's bound to inspire Tottenham to two wins against us! ;)

It is a sad state of affairs when the Liverpool supporters are the only ones making sense. The truth is Jenas never fulfilled our expiations of being the glamour player his youth promised. But day in day out he played hard and did the heavy lifting. His replacement, Parker is not his equal, and Emre, no matter how much I love him, does not have Jenas’ tenacity. He will be missed.

Oh, he's leaving? Good luck, just not against us.

WTF? Are you drunk ottoman? Parker is FAR better than Jenas!
