That sucks.

It sure does. At the moment it looks like I'll go to the match against Bolton or the one against West Ham with the latter being my preference but I'll have to talk to the other two I'm travelling with to make a final decision.

sweet. Jim (Gunners11) is going to go too, i think, and maybe some other people from The Globe. i think i should let Rick know that this is actually a go and not just a pipe dream from when the fixture list came out.

Excellent. I didn't really want to see the match against Bolton, and now there's meeting a couple of you guys, a london derby, and the possibility to abuse an aop twat all in one? I think I'll take that, thank you very much. Now, how to convince the rest of the party...

Ya I am! Btw Dan PM cause we gotta start figurin out flights and stuff. My saved money just took a major hit last night cause I was given a ticket for using excessive profanity towards a ref at my University's soccer match. It was an expensive cursing, it cost me $325.

You got fined for that? Damn. If they ever started doing that at games I go to, I'd have to declare bankruptcy. Of course, this might be a way for the Pens to raise money for the new arena...

Well they kicked me out 'cause I was swearing and then they claimed they smelled alcohol on me, so I told them I had "one beer", and boom I'm down $325.

Oh, the old "drunk and disorderly". You probably could challenge that in court, since one beer isn't technically drunk. That's also a pretty hefty fine for that.

One piece of advice, never tell anyone with authority that you've been drinking, even the proverbial "one beer". If they ask, simply state "I plead the Fizzith!" or better yet, just lie. ;)

Yeah, although, if they smell it on you, you're in trouble. I follow "The Man Show" rule: No matter what, if they ask, you've had two beers. It's more believable than one, and normally not enough for them to think you drank too much.

Right but wrong, any amount gives the authorities Probable Cause that you're intoxicated. Be smart and don't incriminate yourself (hence the 1,2,3,4, Fifth!). Let them prove in court that they could "smell it on you." Nobody believes two beers anyway, its like a girl telling you she's only been with 5 guys.

That reminds me of a line from Shanghai Knights, which I was watching this weekend:

"I am not attracted to loose women. Loose women are attracted to me!" :D

I was watching that movie on TV this weekend too, it sucked. But i did like that quote. Whenever a girl tells me how many guys she's been with (and i never, ever, ask) i simply take that number and square it. ;)

Ahhh, the "American Pie 2: Pie Harder" rule. How true it is. The only time a girl isn't lying is when she's still a virgin, and that's only because it's readily obvious when you get her in the sack if she's been with someone or not. :D
