so, where's phishy been? and where has Riz been?
my guess is phishy doesn't have internet where ever he is, or he is now too cool for us!

Cam, Steph, Anti...Billy and I decided to go ahead and stay the full 10 days. So it should be a helluva trip! 4 games!!! My sweet heaven!!!

phishy has been around here and there but avoids the OT boards. Riz is boycotting the Arsenal OT board and has started one of her own in the chelsea thread. (which rick went to and changed the title to something like "nude arsenal lovers" or something like that on the first day. LOL
My guess is that there is not going to be a big soccer wedding anytime soon. And damn I had so much hope. Oh well...I'll just pimp you out Dan next time we get a soccer hottie on here. LOL

Sorry I've been so sketchy in my appearances this week folks. My wife has come down with pink-eye, having contracted it from our daughter, which means she can't get near the baby...
Quick note while I'm at the computer. If it's not already been raised on the BS boards somewhere, yet another sports editorial has been posted deriding the game, the inability to use your hands, the terminology, etc. This time it comes from our freinds at Sportsline.com (http://www.sportsline.com/columns/story/8797607). I don't think a deluge of responses is in order, but I'm tired of Mr. DeFord and others making stories out of the fact they don't like the game yet they feel compelled to tell us about this. None of these hacks even seems to have bothered with learning about the rules and strategies before commenting. I'm sorry, I'm just tired of it.
Good luck to everyone's teams this weekend (Auburn fans, excluded :D ), be safe, give a little to the cause and keep faith in humanity. I promise to come back next week with a smile.

Hilarious. never heard of Garver before until today.
The funny thing to me is that anywhere else on the internet he'd have been called out for what this column really is - trolling. Perhaps his hits arent up to projections. And in order to raise them, he knocks the sport with the world's biggest following.

i guess he likes 4 hour american football games that only have about 30 minutes of action and start and stop all the time. Don't get me wrong, I love college football and NFL, but the boring and length of matches arguement has no ground whatsoever.

No one ever said the course of true love ran smooth Dan-o......or perhaps untrue love? ;) I kid, I kid.....not sure about the Phishman but I see Riz around the BS boards-just not here.....supposedly we are going to meet up with Phishy on the OT Road Trip!
