it seems pretty hard to black out vapors. the material isnt really gonna help u if u try to black them out. but if u try it then post up some pics.

we have to be more scientific about it than that. we know two things thus far.

1. rubbing alcohol will take off the color on vapors.
2. the material we are trying to color is polyurathane

now all we need to know is what paint or sprays or colorings will stick to polyurathane? hrm, what kind of person would know this that we could somehow contact to ask?

I didnt know that rubbing alcohol took off the color on vapors...
I have the original team red vapor II's, i wonder how they would look, i think that they woulb be white b/c i have had them for a couple years and the toes are white b/c the red has started to rip a little and it looks like they were white b4 they were colored, i also have the gold ones, mine are new so they havent turned red yet, but i think that once i have worn them enough to were the tips turn red, that i will go ahead and take the color off, make them pink and gold, lol...

they just match nice with black socks and black shorts. i like my stuff to match, and i'm not a big fan of nike's random colors.

dude they're like an ounce heavier, plus the leather holds water, plus my friend has the vapor k's and the leather on the toe is all peeled off and looks aweful. i wanted to try nike skin. dizzy, back off of it dude!

Dude, honestly, the difference in weight between the vapor K's and the syns is virtually unoticable, so that isnt a good reason to not want to buy the black k-leathers, but a good reason would be b/c you like synthetic, or that you dont want the leather to fade or wear out b/c the synthetics dont wear out as fast...
