They are a scalper just like any other scalper. Notice on the main page they're taking "pre-orders" for your tickets. I did this with a place in 1998. What happens is you give them your money now and they "promise" to get you tickets in the future. You risk your info not being on the ticket unless they successfully go through the change process of Fifa.
After my experience in France I will never do that again.
All I can say is good luck if you go through a place like this for Germany....

We purchased tickets through a US based company for two of the quarterfinals in France. In the US there are a plethora of "ticket brokers" where it is legal to sell tickets to sold out events. (at a substantial markup of course) I had done this for concerts numerous times without a problem so thought I would be okay.
It was set up to where you would pick up your tickets at one of the remote offices in France. Ours happened to be Paris since we were trying to see the Italy match first.
Before we left the company claimed to have their office in Paris broken into and all tickets stolen.
They claimed to have no responsibility to us for tickets to the matches. We fought them for a couple of weeks, threatened a lawsuit and they finally backed down and said they would make sure they got us tickets, still to be picked up in Paris.
We already had our flights, hotels, EuroRail passes etc so we had too much invested not to go. When we arrived at the office in Paris you could see where the supposed break-in occured. I say supposed because the way the office was arranged it would have been impossible for someone to get in where this small section (size of a fist or two on a fixed glass window) of broken glass was where the person said they broke in.
I suspect that the company pre-sold more tickets than they ended up being able to obtain and was just going to screw some people so they faked the break-in to get out of responsibility. It took us so much time, so many threats and even the risk of no tickets being there when we arrived in Paris that I will just never do that again.
Yes, in the end we saw the games and some say that's all that matters but I warn everyone I can against scalpers now...

wow...interesting story...the pricks
i wonder how ppl live with themselves knowing that they are ripping ppl off like this all over the world.
good thing that it worked out for you in the end that and that you saw your games...
well were not taking any risks, we paid for our french games, now all we need is for them to qualify and bam! were going!!!!!!! :)
hopefully in december i can pick up some single tickets to some polish games, and hopefully some other teams.
i can imagine there will be heaps of travelling around germany, we'll have to work it out carefully that we dont ruin our trip by constantly having to travel all over germany.
i cant wait!!! :)

What I really want to know is euroteam legit? I mean I understand that they are a ticket scalper and the tickets will have the wrong name on them, but other than that are they a reputable company? I know they been around for quite some time as I considered buying euro cup tickets from them. Has anyone used their services?
Thanx

My advice for what its worth is to avoid ticket scalping brokers for the world cup. Use them only as a very last resort.
There are still at least 3 more official ticket sales phases. The next one takes place in December and January. Tickets are allocated on a lottery basis so there is no guarantee you will get tickets.
The final 2 phases are going to be first come first served. You must be on a computer and for certain games you must be quick with your typing and submission of the application.
Keep in that there are literally millions of tickets that are currently only available to corporate sponsors. Not all of these tickets will be purchased.
Mark my words these tickets that sponsors don't purchase will go on sale to the pubic in the spring, probably without much announcement . Just keep checking the FIFA WC ticket web site daily.

I wish to complain about a company called Euroteam, which seems to operate in Norway. I purchased six tickets for concerts in Johannesburg, South Africa to be delivered to our hotel in Johannesburg. My Business Associate and his relatives specially planned a trip to South Africa, and wanted to very keenly the Indian Premier League Semi Finals & Finans on 23/05/09 and 24/05/09 respectively. I paid 640 euros for the Semi Finals & 540 euros for the Finals. I ordered the tickets on May 5th 2009 and they were to be delivered by May 16th 2009 at the latest, by courier, and I paid 30 euros per ticket for this. They were not delivered.
On the very same day, I mailed to them writing the confirmation of the order, to which I got a reply that the order has been confirmed and the payment has also gone through.
I mailed them again on May 9th 2009, enquiring about the status of the shipment, I got no response.
I mailed them again on May 12th 2009, to which they replied that they usually deliver the tickets 3 weeks prior to the event, and will let you know in case of any delay. Surprisingly, no update from them until May 15th 2009.
On May 12th 2009, I got a mail from Euro Team, stating “Unfortunately, the tickets you have ordered can not be delivered at your home address (if you do not live in the city of the event). This is due to late delivery from our supplier. Please note that Euroteam is entitled to deliver tickets up the event without being in breach of contract. Please read: http://www.euroteam.net/EN/Terms. Instead, we have arranged for ticket delivery at your hotel or other accommodation in the city in which the event is taking place”. I replied to them on May 13th 2009 stating “I have already mentioned in the Order Form to deliver the tickets to the city where the event is likely to take place, which is Johannesburg. I am not sure why is this coming up again. Nevertheless, please find the details once again”. I get a reply from Euro Team on May 13th 2009 stating “Thank you very much. We confirm that we have registered your delivery address. Please note that we usually deliver the tickets one day before the event to hotels. We also advise you to notify the concierge/reception that you expect a delivery.”
I informed the concierge at the hotel at the time of booking the tickets (on May 5th 2009 and May 13th 2009)
I did not hear from them between May 13th 2009 to May 20th 2009 and I e-mailed EuroTeam on May 21st 2009 regarding the status of the delivery of the tickets and received no response.
My associate and myself telephoned Euroteam sometimes, and the one time we got through the man who answered said that he couldn't help me and that a colleague would have to. I tried to give our phone number but was assured that they had the number from the phone call I had made. We received no return call. Since I had no tickets nor any assurance of getting any tickets until May 22nd 2009, I again called Euro Team in Norway and I happen to speak to a lady called Camilla Molinari one day before the concernt, and very casually she told me that the tickets could not be arranged and we (Euro Team) have cancelled the order, and we shall refund the money back to you within 4 weeks. After 2 hours on the same day at 19:23hours (IST), I get a mail from Camilla, that the order has been cancelled.
I also receive an email from the administrator that the tickets have been cancelled at 19:17hours (IST) and the money will be refunded back to you within 4 weeks.
Euroteam did not provide the service they advertised and I paid for, ie the delivery of the concert tickets. Nor did they attempt to contact me through the channels I had provided in a timely manner. Nor did they provide an effective and reliable way for me to contact them. Nor did they respond to my questions at times when contact was made. I have had to face a lot of embarrassment in front of my business associates which was very critical to our relationship and the mental stress that I have gone through was just not required. 3 guests were sent to Johannesburg, and I spent for their travel and stay, which was more than 5,000 euros. Trusting on Euro Team has served me a serious monetary damage in terms of the entire trip to Johannesburg, and future business relations with my foreign partners.
I wish to present this matter to you and request a fair treatment for the same. More than the financial loss (approx 6,000euros), the mental stress that I had to experience was very appalling and request an apology from them with a rightful compensation along with the refund for the same.

I got Togo - Switzerland tickets from them at the 2006 WC.
I didn't really know if I would get them until I was in Dortmund and personally wouldn't go through that stress and uncertainty again.
Anyway, this thread is from 2005. Closed
