hey everyone!!
I am new to the forums but have been browsing a while...
I have just today purchased the blue and black F50+ and they are FANTASTIC!!
However, i have seen a few cases of the sole of the boot coming away from the top right at the front at the toe.
So i was wondering:
Is there any way that this can be stopped from happening?
Any replies welcome!! Even if it is just general F50+ maintanence
Thanks 'a' Bunch in advance everybody!!!

I haven't really heard of a surefire way to keep it from happening. Just keep an eye on them and if they start to split, clean it out and put some shoe goo in there. That's what I do.

i have never done this but i was just thinking about it. What if you put a small layer of shoegoo where the sole and upper meet. You can take a toothpick and just apply it in that little crack that is there between the upper and sole. That way you can apply it from time to time and maybe it will help with the sole spilitting. I have thought about that before but never done it.

That is exactly what I do. It does peel off from time to time so yeah, you have to redo it occasionally. The longer you are able to let it dry, the better it works. You can smear it smooth with the upper and sole with your finger so the glue doesn't come off as easily.

yea, shoegoo should do the trick. but before you apply the glue make sure the surface you wanna apply is clean, to ensure the glue will istribute fairly.

I heard that shoegoo doesn't dry up very quickly (like superglue for example). So you probably should keep holding the place you're fixing for a while.

It takes too long to dry that holding it is not worthwhile. Just repair them often enough so that you don't have a really big split to fix, because it doesn't work very well then unless you let it dry for like a week.

Well I've had my F50s for a year (the original ones) and never had any trouble. Just make sure you clean them well after every use and you take care of them (ie. don't leave them soaking wet in a plastic bag).
