hummel sizing is typically around 0.5 size smaller than US, usually similar to Nike sizing.

Sizing does also depend on which boot you are talking about, the material of the upper (leather will stretch more than synthetic), and how you prefer your fit (ie. more tight).

If you let me know which hummel boot you are looking at, or which models of other brands you have worn, I might be able to give a more specific answer.

Thanks,

Richard

The Silver Anniversary boots are made in China, as are the majority of top football boots from all the brands.

He was adding something constructive to the post by telling him they're worthy of buying. I don't see anything constructive out of your post. Or the next post you made about Nike boots being made in Italy, for that matter.

Many boots are still made in China and Nike is no acception. The high-end boots may still be manufactured in Italy, but all the apparel and lower end footwear is made in Asia (with acception to the Authentic Game jerseys which are made in the U.K.). Does not mean the quality is less than anywhere else in the world.

wooh i was just wondering when he said that majority of big brands get their boots made in china, and remember that nike made some of their stuff in italy thats all. and i did not say anything about quality of product due to the country it is produced in. i think you too over sensitive

I'm not being overly sensitive, I just don't appriciate that you bashed someone for contributing something worthwhile when you hadn't really done anything to help us along. It's about time something happened about this.

Where a boot is designed and/or manufactured may not necessarily bear on the the inherent quality of it, but one may have other valid considerations for being concerned about the country of origin. Political, for example.

lol that could be valid.

off topic but just to clear up the air, the reason i asked was because i had many bad experiences with china/vitenam/indonesian made boots. I'm not bragging, but after after 30+ boots with 18 still exisiting, most that survived time were those made in EU (italy, bulgaria etc). So i'm just very strictly cautious that im not overpaying for lesser quality control( this i know for a fact, as i'm from Asia myself and ive spoken to many local sports shop owners about it) . Cheers and lets just drop it ADI and Zhiyi. take the comments constrcutively and enough has been said, anymore and it will be b i t c h i n g.

Not to say there there arent good factories in the EU, but in terms of overpaying for lesser quality, you should be really concious of the labor rates in asia compared to EU.

Espcially now, compared to maybe 15 years ago when technical footwear production was still relatively new to countries like china, asia production is almost certainly the leader in technical development, quality and production and very low in labor costs. This means you can higher the ebst workers and technicians and not add a lot of cost to the product.

You can still find factories in EU making technical shoes, but I would say that compared to the price and quality, you would actually pay more for less.

There are of course exceptions, like the Copa made in the original fty in Germany, and also some NB runners made in UK. But generally speaking, I'd take a technical shoe from china over one from romania or bulgaria any day.

dress shoes are another matter.

just my $0.02 worth.

Sure, we do make a lot of boots in china. so do all the other brands. in fact i would bet that more than 98% of boots in the market are made someplace in asia.

and btw, check out lots of other brands- not only do they produce in china, but also indonesia, and malaysia, which generally speaking have lower quality/price than china.

are you looking on eastbay.com? I have been checking those out for a while now, i am really tempted to get them. They look good and i would love to give hummel a spin, especially at that price. Yea i am quite curious about the size as well. i am a 8.5 for adidas and about a 9 for nike.
