Hey all,

I've never played organized soccer, but might try my hand at Indoor(obviously at the lowest level). I referee the game, but have never really been on the field as a player, and really want to give it a go. Any tips on what I should work on my own?

As above ^ I am a late starter as well. I found this site very helpful for demos of touches to practice on your own.

step 1 - find a ball
step 2 - find a wall
step 3 - kick the ball against the wall
step 4 - trap the ball on its way back
step 5 - repeat 1 through 4 over and over again

Good Luck

That site is outstanding. Try mastering one new move a week. Worked wonders for me. Dribbling and receiving/redirecting are the most crucial tasks in soccer and take the most time to get down.
