That was one of the most wierdest games I've seen.

Especially when they started to cut to the Kiev-Juve game.

It looks like the NEwcastle players didn't know what to do. It was rediculous when Viana took all day to get off the field for a substitution, waisting time when it was 2-2. Feyenoord were more urgent for the play to continue, looked like Newcastle were happy playing in UEFA Cup until they scored in the last minute.

Dyer and Bellamy played excellent, while Hugo was a pile of sh1t even if he did score.

Congratulations to The Magpies!! As a Man City supporter I don't often get excited over other teams success but I was out of my seat when Bellamy got the winner!! I think a lot of fans over here have a soft spot for Toon,my daughter...(a brain-washed Blue!!) from a VERY early age new about them, after City! I always asked her "Who plays in Black & White?" & she'd say "Newcaddle Nited!" Brilliant come-back in the 1st stage & good luck for the next!!

I seldom post over here since I'm just an ignorant yank.

But:
F' yeah!

People were wondering what the hullabaloo was coming from my cube when I was able to bring up the result.
As bad as the lads looked against Arsenal, I didn't think there was a shot in hell of making the next phase. I love when I'm pessimistic and wrong.

What a match!!! Was it on American TV??? I got the Newcastle audio feed and it sounded like a home match with all the noise the newcastle supporters were making.

This definitely cements Newcastle's place as most entertaining team in England.

Unbeliveable. Was desperate to try and get tv coverage here in Pennsylvania of my team, but all failed. Was stuck watching the skysports live scores with anticipation, and ending in pure ecstacy. Can't imagine how good it would hae een to be at home in the bigg market! Amazing lads, bring on Real, Barca and Man U!
Also any makems out there,"we'll be thinking of you's when you're playing at the heights of burnley and preston north end and we're entertaining the creme de la creme at the bernabau!"

Fantastic result last night and great credit to the lads for not giving up after the first three defeats.

I had to watch the game in a London pub with 2 TV screens. Most people were (amazingly) watching the Man U - Leverkusen game but after that ended switched to ours. There was total uproar when the winner went in and real pleasure from all that the Toon had qualified.

This morning I have had congratulatory e mails from supporters of clubs all over England. It looks like everyone is pleased with what has happened (although I admit I haven't heard from any Mackems.)

According to NUFC.com, the structure of the draw means that we must face a team from each of Spain, Italy and Germany.

Fantastic result & fantastic atmosphere - the concrete stands were bouncing several inches at one point...............Ive been back about 4 hours & am still in shock from it all. I would never in a million years have thought that Bellamy would pulled the winner back at 90 odd minutes...afterwards ,The Police arranged a free direct train from the stadium to either central rotterdam or Amsterdam after the match, so the streets of Amsterdam were rocking with what seemed like several thousand Toon at about 12.30 Am - just what the local bar owners wanted !

Amsterdam being an Ajax town were obviously quite happy at the result.

I now have to sit down & look at my atlas to see how I can get to our likely opponents - MIlan , somewhere in Spain & Possibly Dortmund.

I have not yet told the GirlF what last nights victroy really means - i.e. I will be going away a bit more often that I originally told her

Toon !
