he almost had a chance at a shot from the right side, but he stumbled or something. Other than that a header back to a teammate and that was all for his 6 minutes.

Diouf seems to have his spot at center.

How come his debut was off the bench?

He should be starting.

I hope this is just some EPL tradition. To introduce your new star by bringing him off the bench

This happens a lot in euro teams.

The biggest reason I followed Bolton before Borgetti was because of the antics of Ivan Campo and this man's skill, Jay Jay Okocha. This guy has been some ballplayer for quite some time.

Oh I see is he taller than Borgetti?

No, but he's a different type of player. More of a creator.

I think it was good for borgetti not to be on starting line up as of now ..... He still needs to get his conditioning stronger and get more fmailair with the team and so on , same as nakata ........ like the other forum meber i also got exited when the crowd welcomed borgetti , he will fit right in specailly with his skills but he just has to play the game and not worry .. Is it just me or did borgetti looked stronger or more firm speciaLLY O NTHAT PHOTO news OF YAHOO than looking at him before in Pachuca......

Is quite Ironic how in Copa Libertadores , They didnt start Borgetti but put him on the bench then the coach I forgot his name ... (mugres nombres ) wnated to put him in the 80th minute but bogetti refused to come in ....... Know look at him being a star playing for one of the most prestigious leagues and best in soccer.......

Diouf and Okocha are huga animlas i nthe field quiet awesome , also the greek (dsont wnat to type his name too damm loing and forgot it now ) gives out great passes wchi h will help borgetti

Sam Allardyce always waits to play his new players. I read that a three-match wait for Borghetti was expected.
